Is the footage taken from some sort of a film that celebrates Vrubel's paintings and Lermontov's poem? I can't believe it was made from scratch by KYPCK fans.

If it was, it's by far the most impressive fan-made clip I've ever seen. One of the best clips altogether.

Even if it wasn't, the makers deserve credit for finding the original film and combining it perfectly with the track.

The poem, the paintings, the video, and the song form one hypnotic experience. An instant favourite.

Yes, it's Vrubel's paintings style (There is his work "Daemon" in final), and Lermontov's poem "Daemon" is the second part of this song, and the general line.

I don't know, is it fan-made or not, but it's realy great.

@silapravdy I found where the video was taken from, but I suppose I'd rather not mention it not to risk any trouble with copyright, since it's probably unauthorised usage. The footage is not fan-made, but the source is sufficiently obscure.

@Humanophage )) According russian lows, classical art (older some many years) havn't copyrights - it belong to nation. It is supposed that all we know classic. So somebody may to use or remake classic work, but every russian must know, where is it from. With "Finland artists - russian art", I think, the same situation.

So troubles with copyright can be, but in Russia it happen very saldom. (From USSR we are accustomed that ALL we do, we do for whole Motherland.)
