@ThaWomanizer you are stupid as shit. they are all terrible boxers. its just different then just boxing or just wrestling. doesnt make one better then the other faggot
@ThaWomanizer tyson would fuk any mma guy up u know u... they cnt get close to him 1 punch OK in his PRIME easily now... GO WATCH STERIOD INJECTION FIGHTERS THAT ROLL ON THE FLOOR ALL DAY TOO PUSSY TO TAKE A PUNCH!
lol last thing...i went to ur channel and yoiu said boxing is for pussies who dont wanna get hurt LOOL boxing averages 12 deaths per year. MMA has never had a death since 1998 and it was unsanctioned. Boxers retire with 80% brain damage on average, nothing close to mma. boxing involved 90% head shots which the brain is not meant to handle. mma uses full body which the human body can adapt to. you must be retarded, and stop saying
there was never before, after or during his era anyone like him.hes not the best of this time, that time, part-time, full-time.mother fucka hes the best off all time.trevor berbick knocked the fuck out 3 times with one punch.did ali do that?no he fuckin didnt.TYSON is my idol for life, oh ye and he was great in the Hangover!
@jakeyboi1412 yes he did. in his prime he could go 10 rounds easily. he went the distance with tillis green and tucker and wassnt even tired. u dont know enough about him to comment. i guarantee uve watched about 3 of his fights. none of his prime
@ferrarimike23 ooooh i dunno teddy would have been great for tyson had he not been sacked. theres more chance his prime would have lasted longer if teddy stayed
The mental aspect of a fighter is also part of his "genetics" not just speed, power and coordination , I've trained with sparred with guys that were lazy or chased women booze and drugs, and they all used to say how "good" they would be if they were "serious". The point I would make is that their minds were weak they were soft inside, same with Tyson he let it go, The "real" Tyson got busted by Douglas and Holyfield, gentically he was gifted in body but not in mind and heart.
@DROTTOHARRIS i dont see why you would say the "real" tyson got busted by douglas and holyfield. Its pretty much common knowledge now that Tyson trained a few weeks at most for the douglas fight....and you say thats the real Tyson? So the real Tyson is a guy with a dead mentor/father/trainer? No the real Tyson bounced around the ring with style/technique and swung for the fences because he had someone to impress. i was gonna be nice but your a fucking moron for saying thats the "real" tyson
@250honda Again part of the Boxers ability is their mind not physical genetics exclusively , TYSON NEVER came back I stated as a fan of the young Tyson , so out of shape is out of shape because the mind is not disciplined .
" mental aspect of a fighter is also part of his "genetics" not just speed, power and coordination , I've trained with sparred with guys that were lazy or chased women booze and drugs, and they all used to say how "good" they would be if they were "serious".
@6suicidal6 I was saying that to a friend today. After Don King got his hooks into Mike after Cus and Jim Jacobs died, then Bill Cayton, Steve Loot and Kevin Rooney were then fired under Kings whispering in Mikes ear... That was the end of an era. The job set out by Cus, to beat Marciano's unbeaten record of 49 and 0 and become the best heavyweight in history was gone. His first fight out after Rooney's departure against Bruno was the beginning of the end. It could have been a whole lot better
u gota feel for the guy..from top to nothing, one of those sad stories..it really is a shame to see such a brilliant boxer go down like this. Hope ur ok tyson,
@xXFocusRecord True, I had a breif conversation with Teddy at a freinds wedding, he was a guest, being a fan of the young Tyson , I asked a few questions regarding what you discussed, Cus got rid of Teddy because he did the noble right thing, and it was a major factor in Tyson thinking he could get away with anything and hence degenerating. Rooney a drunk took over...
Teddy is all class and was a total gentleman when I met him a great guy and humble man's man.
sugar ray robinson was the greatest fighter ever he had three time as many fights as mike, but more importantly could take a beating and turn a fight around. He fought real killers in the ring 5 of whom have been entered into the hall of fame. most of tysons opponents were pussys, his fights were one way traffic, and he came unstuck against fighters who were not afraid of him
the money , fame, women, got to him....he could have been one of the greatest ever. I'd probably lose focus too, with all that money and pussy everywhere
Ali was and all-round boxer, while Tyson is swarmer/In-fighter.
Tyson also had blazing speed and immense power of punches, and he is also great all-round fighter, thought he lacked quick out fighting Jab's that Ali had and foot work.
Ali introduced A LOT into boxing, which was never known before, he fought inside and outside.
At there primes it could go either way, as Ali absorbed all punches from George Foreman and Earnie Shavers but he got hooked to ground from Joe Fraizer aka "Pre-Tyson"
@250honda Well who knows, maybe he would if he could catch him. Do not get me wrong i really LOVE Tyson as athlete and boxer, but he did not live up to expectations while on other hand Muhammad Ali defeated ALL Hw's he encountered in "Golden Era" of boxing, giants of boxing as Joe Frazier, Ken Norton, Earnie Shavers, George Foreman, Sonny Liston, Floyd Patterson (Cus D'Amatto trainee in exactly same Tyson style), George Chuvalo, Ron Lyle, Joe Bugner, Jerry Quarry, Jimmy Ellis, Oscar Bonavena...
mike was a complete set he was pretty fast, and strong as hell, and he moved so well, i love seeing how in a fight he'll pib fucking fast and hook someone and then do it again on the other side, mike tyson is a legend
Tyson is my fav boxer ever, but I don't get why he got up at 4:00am to jog and then go back to bed, why didn't he just get a straight decent nights sleep then go jogging? he would of got the same amount of hours and training in.
• 5pm: Floor exercises: 2000 sit ups; 500-800 'dips'; 500 press ups and 500 shrugs with a 30kg barbell and 10 mins of neck exercises (working the biceps, triceps, chest, abs and shoulders)
• 7pm: Eat steak and pasta meal again with fruit juice (probably orange juice)
Tyson a legend in boxing... he brought excitement and entertained in the ring. He was a master of using intimidation to make his opponents scared. The only thing about tyson is that he did not conquer himself like Ali did... and had a lot of people who misguided him. Ali as a person had all, he fought in the ring and for his values even when he faced losing everything... but tyson better to watch anyday!!
Dude, I see someone respecting Tyson's accomplishments, but he's your "idol"? He's a convicted rapist who squandered almost a 1/2 billion dollars. That's $400,000 that was NOT taken from him by Don King. Hard to idolize a man that destined for failure, but to each his own. He's a young man still, so maybe he'll impress the world with something yet. I'd just hold off on the Tyson worship for a bit...
are u realy so stupit to think he raped a woman?it was at night after a party the woman go with him in a hotel sweet..u think she goes with him to watch tv ?
@Fr33Fisting Tyson should be every mans idol when it comes to being an athlete. You taking things out of context....your problem. There still hasnt been a man since Tyson to be as impressive physically
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
people talking about ali had bad hibits that is why he is the GREATEST dont you get it? he could do the things everyone said dont do he was that good. i give ALI the egde over tyson just on the mental side alone ALI got stripped of his title in his prime then go it back years later. Tyson went to jail and the rest is history. no comparison. and again tyson didnt have "freakish power" he had good power superb speed but slower than ali and great defense. ALI could rope a dope tyson.
First of all, when you get to a certain level, of any craft, if your not training properly--you will lose. Ali was great, I cannot deny that nor would I try. A large part of that greatness came from his personality outside the ring. But to say Tyson's power is anything less than freakish is an insult to any boxing connoisseur. Tyson's power in combination with his punch combos was unprecedented. Reevaluate your position for your own good and the boxing community. Thank you.
The only reason Ali considered great is because of his personality. His character is what makes everyone so interested.
To be honest I can't even sit through an Ali fight, he's just not an exciting fighter. If Ali wasn't the funny, cocky, charismatic fellow he is he'd never have got the recognition he has. Mike Tyson was at first a humble, quiet knockout kid who was getting compared to the greats, and was only known for fighting, not what he did outside the ring. Tyson is the best ever
Of course you can sit through a Tyson fight. Even an autistic kid with ADD can sit through it. It is usually only a 9 - 12 min fight. Ali was a technician with skills.
Agree 100% that Ali was over-hyped and overrated. Frazier still looks healthy to me. But Ali always defended his losses with wins with better fighters. Mike has never defended his losses.
he did not have the power of foreman my god or shavers or razor ruddock, he was powerful though you are confusing his speed and accuracy for MORE power. when he beat larry holmes he said "i faced harder punchers but not sharper punchers he is very hard to hit and unorthodox"
What is power? From what I understand, it is mass x velocity. Foreman never had great speed, but I've heard his fist weighed eight pounds; that is why although his punches are slow, they knock people out--the mass of his fists. I agree, Ruddock has great power--reminds me of a earlier version of L. Lewis--with long arms and good technique. But no, he never had the power of Tyson (speed and mass); besides, look at their records: Tyson's 88% k/oR(44/50) to Ruddock's 65% k/oR(28/43).
i agree with a couple of you guys alis style was made for tyson . tyson had the power of foremen and the speed of ali.but ali was great you cant deny that. ray robinson prob the greatest of them all
they say he is gonna shed 15 pounds, now isnt that a problem as he is ment to be a heavyweight,if he is shedding pounds he is going down a weight class which isnt good
The thing about that is after a fight a fighter stops training for a month or so and so he gains weight and then when he starts training again he loses all the fat and unwatned weight he accumulated
tyson was a phenom a freak of nature.. the technique that cus d" amato tought to mike,.. in combinaton with tysons freakish power and speed...tyson wuld beat ali...ali had too many technical flaws and bad habits in his fights...even tho ali is the greatest i feel
i think ali is very over rated, he was knocked down and beaten enough times, he didn'thave half the power of tyson but in his early days he danced, WOW that must mean he is the greatest NOT
yea i agree with u to a point,..ali has went up against the best in his class frazier 3x, foreman, norton 3x, shavers and beat them,..and thats why i think he is the greatest..but in a fight tyson i think wuld beat ali. ali had alot of flaws, and bad habits, no inside fight skills, he dropped his hands and prime mike wuld exploit them. mike slip n counter style wuld giv ali trouble..fight culd go either way. both in there primes id go with tyson.
i agree 100%...Ali is a greater fighter but Tyson at is Prime was better but Ali was better put together so he could hone his own skills whereas Tyson needed more guidance to perform and train to the best of his ability
Mike tyson in his prime was awesome. Speed, power, just a great athlete. If he stayed on that path, he would've been undefeated.
adrianbillionaire 3 weeks ago
My god what an athlete he was . I heard Tyson say -" Most people see the glory but they don't know the story ". Just awesome .

Standing up? on your fucking feet? Tyson would KO any man alive. accept pac man but thats because he couldnt catch em. Mike Tyson...as old and fat as he is this very moment..with 4oz gloves?? He would be breaking jaw and cheek bones

lol last thing...i went to ur channel and yoiu said boxing is for pussies who dont wanna get hurt LOOL boxing averages 12 deaths per year. MMA has never had a death since 1998 and it was unsanctioned. Boxers retire with 80% brain damage on average, nothing close to mma. boxing involved 90% head shots which the brain is not meant to handle. mma uses full body which the human body can adapt to. you must be retarded, and stop saying

gregm20072007 1 year ago
To become a champion in the first place you have to be strong minded
And the young Tyson "kid dynamite" was on a mission and wasn't to be stoped before he became champion
ferrarimike23 1 year ago
The mental aspect of a fighter is also part of his "genetics" not just speed, power and coordination , I've trained with sparred with guys that were lazy or chased women booze and drugs, and they all used to say how "good" they would be if they were "serious". The point I would make is that their minds were weak they were soft inside, same with Tyson he let it go, The "real" Tyson got busted by Douglas and Holyfield, gentically he was gifted in body but not in mind and heart.
DROTTOHARRIS 1 year ago
@DROTTOHARRIS i dont see why you would say the "real" tyson got busted by douglas and holyfield. Its pretty much common knowledge now that Tyson trained a few weeks at most for the douglas fight....and you say thats the real Tyson? So the real Tyson is a guy with a dead mentor/father/trainer? No the real Tyson bounced around the ring with style/technique and swung for the fences because he had someone to impress. i was gonna be nice but your a fucking moron for saying thats the "real" tyson
250honda 11 months ago
@250honda Again part of the Boxers ability is their mind not physical genetics exclusively , TYSON NEVER came back I stated as a fan of the young Tyson , so out of shape is out of shape because the mind is not disciplined .

6suicidal6 1 year ago
@6suicidal6 I was saying that to a friend today. After Don King got his hooks into Mike after Cus and Jim Jacobs died, then Bill Cayton, Steve Loot and Kevin Rooney were then fired under Kings whispering in Mikes ear... That was the end of an era. The job set out by Cus, to beat Marciano's unbeaten record of 49 and 0 and become the best heavyweight in history was gone. His first fight out after Rooney's departure against Bruno was the beginning of the end. It could have been a whole lot better

Ok, who would win in a fight between Tyson in his prime and Ali in his prime?
evakeyz 2 years ago
Ali was and all-round boxer, while Tyson is swarmer/In-fighter.
Tyson also had blazing speed and immense power of punches, and he is also great all-round fighter, thought he lacked quick out fighting Jab's that Ali had and foot work.
Ali introduced A LOT into boxing, which was never known before, he fought inside and outside.
At there primes it could go either way, as Ali absorbed all punches from George Foreman and Earnie Shavers but he got hooked to ground from Joe Fraizer aka "Pre-Tyson"

• 10am: Wake up and eat oatmeal
• 12pm: Do ring work (10 rounds of sparring)
• 2pm: Eat another meal (steak and pasta with fruit juice drink)
• 4pm: More ring work and 60 mins on the exercise bike (again working those legs for endurance and power)
thenewgeneration123 2 years ago
• 5pm: Floor exercises: 2000 sit ups; 500-800 'dips'; 500 press ups and 500 shrugs with a 30kg barbell and 10 mins of neck exercises (working the biceps, triceps, chest, abs and shoulders)
• 7pm: Eat steak and pasta meal again with fruit juice (probably orange juice)
• 8pm: Another 30 minutes on the exercise bike
• 9:30 Watch TV and then go to bed

Tyson a legend in boxing... he brought excitement and entertained in the ring. He was a master of using intimidation to make his opponents scared. The only thing about tyson is that he did not conquer himself like Ali did... and had a lot of people who misguided him. Ali as a person had all, he fought in the ring and for his values even when he faced losing everything... but tyson better to watch anyday!!

NickDiaz209 2 years ago
Dude, I see someone respecting Tyson's accomplishments, but he's your "idol"? He's a convicted rapist who squandered almost a 1/2 billion dollars. That's $400,000 that was NOT taken from him by Don King. Hard to idolize a man that destined for failure, but to each his own. He's a young man still, so maybe he'll impress the world with something yet. I'd just hold off on the Tyson worship for a bit...

people talking about ali had bad hibits that is why he is the GREATEST dont you get it? he could do the things everyone said dont do he was that good. i give ALI the egde over tyson just on the mental side alone ALI got stripped of his title in his prime then go it back years later. Tyson went to jail and the rest is history. no comparison. and again tyson didnt have "freakish power" he had good power superb speed but slower than ali and great defense. ALI could rope a dope tyson.
XRRfan 2 years ago
"He didn't have freakish power" Are you kidding me? How many of his fights have you seen? WRONG
hanoncs 2 years ago
First of all, when you get to a certain level, of any craft, if your not training properly--you will lose. Ali was great, I cannot deny that nor would I try. A large part of that greatness came from his personality outside the ring. But to say Tyson's power is anything less than freakish is an insult to any boxing connoisseur. Tyson's power in combination with his punch combos was unprecedented. Reevaluate your position for your own good and the boxing community. Thank you.
arashace 2 years ago 2
The only reason Ali considered great is because of his personality. His character is what makes everyone so interested.
To be honest I can't even sit through an Ali fight, he's just not an exciting fighter. If Ali wasn't the funny, cocky, charismatic fellow he is he'd never have got the recognition he has. Mike Tyson was at first a humble, quiet knockout kid who was getting compared to the greats, and was only known for fighting, not what he did outside the ring. Tyson is the best ever
ItsJohnnyAppleseed 2 years ago
Of course you can sit through a Tyson fight. Even an autistic kid with ADD can sit through it. It is usually only a 9 - 12 min fight. Ali was a technician with skills.
HOWARDBRUISER 2 years ago
Ali just wasn't that great. People feed into the media too much. Ali was good, but that's about it.
ItsJohnnyAppleseed 2 years ago
Agree 100% that Ali was over-hyped and overrated. Frazier still looks healthy to me. But Ali always defended his losses with wins with better fighters. Mike has never defended his losses.
HOWARDBRUISER 2 years ago
he did not have the power of foreman my god or shavers or razor ruddock, he was powerful though you are confusing his speed and accuracy for MORE power. when he beat larry holmes he said "i faced harder punchers but not sharper punchers he is very hard to hit and unorthodox"
XRRfan 2 years ago
What is power? From what I understand, it is mass x velocity. Foreman never had great speed, but I've heard his fist weighed eight pounds; that is why although his punches are slow, they knock people out--the mass of his fists. I agree, Ruddock has great power--reminds me of a earlier version of L. Lewis--with long arms and good technique. But no, he never had the power of Tyson (speed and mass); besides, look at their records: Tyson's 88% k/oR(44/50) to Ruddock's 65% k/oR(28/43).
arashace 2 years ago

ematic85 2 years ago 7
i think ali is very over rated, he was knocked down and beaten enough times, he didn'thave half the power of tyson but in his early days he danced, WOW that must mean he is the greatest NOT
marxistsoldier 2 years ago
yea i agree with u to a point,..ali has went up against the best in his class frazier 3x, foreman, norton 3x, shavers and beat them,..and thats why i think he is the greatest..but in a fight tyson i think wuld beat ali. ali had alot of flaws, and bad habits, no inside fight skills, he dropped his hands and prime mike wuld exploit them. mike slip n counter style wuld giv ali trouble..fight culd go either way. both in there primes id go with tyson.
