From what I been researching, the AdrenaLinn would offer everything the Line6 delay does. Correct me if I am wrong? Thanks for the help. Next time you do a demo, try to have a top down view of the board if you can lol.
@pilotboy17 you cant turn the delay off when you press the effects switch..only the effect like flanger arppegio turns off not the delay. and it only has digital delay. id stick with dl4 for delays i only use adrenalinn for very complex sounds like arppeggios or sequencer
@jingwah Ahhh!!! That makes a lot more sense. Have you ever found much use with the Adrenalinn at church? Also, did you replace the DL4 for anything else? I think for now I probably should just get another delay.
Sorry for all the inquiries. I really appreciate the help.
Hey, bud. I've been watching a lot of your videos. Is there any way you could post a quick video of your pedal board or send me a pic?
I was very interested in the AdrenaLinn as well, as I am also a guitarist on my church worship team...wanting to add more diversity to the lead. The only delay pedal I have right now is Boss DD7. However with one delay, its hard to switch between rhythm and lead. Is there a major difference in what your Line6 DL4 offers, or should i just get the AdrenaLinn?
@pilotboy17 yes there is a major diff between. i dont own the dl4 anymore. but you shouldnt get adrenalinn now. adrenalinn is more of an extra effect tahts useful once you have completed your board
@jingwah I don't have just the DD7 (that was just for delay)...other stuff I have on my board are Voodoo II Power Pack, Boss Tremolo, Boss Metal Zone, Boss Chorus, Ibanez TubeScreamer, Ernie Ball Volume Pedal, Crybaby Wah 535Q. Of course, I am still building and possibly trying to replace some of the ones I've had for awhile. I 've always been a fan of Edge's (U2) sound and of course John Mayer and SRV. Hillsong United is awesome too! They came to my church last year when I was in Virginia.
oh, I just wanted to be able to run separate lines into my soundcard for recording. For example..the drum tracks get one isolated track and the guitars get a separate track, so when I go to eq and mix the tracks...they are separate.
the loop hole is if there are left and right outputs and that I can assign the drums to the left out and the guitar signal to the right outs...
this way I can still get the isolation of drums and guitars....
@jingwah - thanks for taking the time to inform me. There's gotta be a way, right?
Like, how do people like John Mayer and Green Day get their linn guitar sounds to sync up with the drum tracks on their songs?
It's probably the midi mode...which if synced up will get the delay or modulation / arpeggio patches of the the linn to sync up with an external drum beat...
You're right, the muse setting you showed isn't quite the same. obviously, the real one was made by using three separate amps run through simultaneously, each with octave modification...but that preset only goes the up octave, it doesn't drop down like in the track.
Pete, really nice demos. There is not too much info out there about this box other than Roger Linn's demos. I would love to see more from you and how about a full tour of your pedalboard.
Hi, I´ve never tried a Adrenalinn but I´m thinking of buying one. Could you please tell med if there´s a gap when you change presets? Many multieffects have a few milliseconds of silence between presets. Does the Adrenalinn have that?
What settings do you have on your adrenalinn ? I can't seem to get mine to be silent, lots of noise/hissing. Thanks!

there is a midi sync, right?
how can I do this?

@novanine9 mmm hmm idk cause i never tried recording but BUT i dont think tahts possible..its only stereo out with just one input..

are there separtate outputs for the guitar's sound and the drum's output....for level isolation when running into a board or recording soundcard?
so that one could mix and eq the sounds?
it would suck if it required midi sync and recording each part separately.
Can you play the sync'd drums and guitar sounds in real time and have the separate signals run into different track of the mixing board?
thanks
novanine9 1 year ago
@novanine9 no there isnt separate output but there are separate volume controls you can control it.
and there is a main volume which is the clip knob.
and what you mean on your last question?

I like how you threw in a little Hillsong in there haha. Kudos

WHat amp are you playing through? Im curious because the amp modeling on the adrenalinn would sound different amp to amp. Just curious. Awesome demo!

Hey man sweet vid. I have the Adrenalinn 3 as well and was wondering what preset you were using at 1:30? Really sweet delay!

oh i was just using ac30 bright i believe?
jingwah 2 years ago
Sounding awesome! Are you able to get the 'I don't trust myself with loving you' tone out of the Adrenalinn 3? I can't seem to find it!
timothycjones 2 years ago
To get the pulsing filter sound used on the opening chord riff, set PRESET to 73.
To get the auto-wah sound used on the melody line that follows the opening chord riff, set Preset to 160.
To get the drumbeat, Set Drumbeat to 1 and Tempo to 84.
thats straight from the sites faq aahha. preset 160 is just the autowah or envelope follower
