I really hope Shanaze Reade doesn't change her mind when she doubles up and goes for BMX AND track at the next Olympics... if she keeps her head screwed on, she'll walk away with two golds. Apparently she's a wilful so and so and doesn't listen to her coach... which is worrying, but she's got the physical ability to dominate both sports for some time yet.

agreed they dont get enough credit for what they can do, especially in the olympics it seems like the veldrome races are pushed to one side most of the time even though they are obtaining the bulk of our medals.

I fully agree with AB5309 - the sporting mentality shown by our cyclists and rowers should be drummed into the England national football squad, that's the only way they'll ever live up to expectations I reckon. apart from maybe rowing and possibly shooting, this is the only real event that britain will take gold medals at the olympics. so its c'mon hoy, pendleton, wiggins and romero you can do the business.
