I went the Friday nights at Sound Factory(probably the only white guy there!) and Saturday nights in 1987 and had the the best times of my life. Then I would go to Choice with Larry spinning the tunes - truly special - God bless him and may he rest in peace.
@cscottsmith I remember the original version when it was just a track with all the samples. What a classic. A lot of club kids didn't know anything about what it was really about till Junior went back and added this vocal version lol.

Except that Phil, Christina, Richard and Junior didn't open the Factory until March of 1989.
