  • Very, very good.

The whole 2-gender thing is SO over-rated.

How many genders are there? Who knows?

    Who cares?!

  • wow im 13 and this video descibes exactly how i feel thank you !! I HATE BEING A GIRL! its not me [had to get that out!]

  • Very heart touching & educational, thank you for sharing with us.

  • it is not who they are it is what they are meaning there name is not transgender... Not to sound mean I have many trans friend and I love them as people..

  • I love your video, it's very insperational and good job.

  • Hey all my trans brothers check out my video about being FTM

  • its marginalizing and otherising transgenders by naming their discourse like "they are human, they are in a big pain bla bla". this is not a good way of talking about problems. this makes the crowsd "normal" and "the others" as well.

  • God created you transgendered therefor it is a blessing. I am so sorry for the suffering you have endured, but I know it has made you a more empathetic and compassionate person. Whether you choose a particular gender identity, or if you remain intersexed as you identity, I pray you will find love and true peace. God bless you.

  • *sigh*

  • I really like your videos. Thanks for sharing the with us.

  • Wow, really powerful video. Kudos. <3

  • I like your music, and I understand what you are living through for I am transgendered too. I would say just be who you are, and if others don't understand, it is their problem. Try hard to be happy and try to live life to its fullest potential. I saw you smile in your pictures. The glass is half full, be positive, and enjoy life. I try hard every day. Best wishes, Lisa

  • wonderfully presented ... very haunting & thought provoking . Thanx so much !

  • Great video... I wish society didn't define gender and sexuality.

  • thank you, that was beautiful and so was the music

  • very nicely done. And a great way to explain to people who dont understand it. peaceful and elegant. bravo

  • There was an interesting comment made by one of the characters in CSI (Crime Scene Investigation). Grissom in one of the episodes said "Maybe, humans were once able to switch between genders and having only one is a mutation."

An interesting comment made by my own father was this: "Perhaps, you are the bridge. Maybe, one day someone will do something or evolve so that gender is optional rather then chosen."

  • I like that comment! Perhaps trans people are the bridge to a better future where binaries of sex and gender no longer matter and people can be who they want to be. The human equivalent of the Latimeria chalumnae, the fish thought to have been the direct ancestor of mammals. The missing link I think! But then it's not always easy to be pioneers!:-) Thanks for the brilliant video!

  • awe you make a very pretty boy. id like to make a very pretty boy.

  • Wonderful work... it depicts the pain felt by many, but also the joy that comes from being one's self

  • um im pretty sure that you guys do choose to be stupid... because thats what transgender people are... :)

  • All who are not of good race in this world are chaff.

    -Adolf Hitler

    Adolf, itsjustme9006. Itsjustme9006, Adolf.

  • Achillesinhistent, why have you posted a Nazi comment on my video? Anyway, your comment is irrelevant because sex, gender and transgenderism are nothing to do with race. If you're going to post unwelcome Nazi comments, at least know what you are talking about first!

  • Ok, obviously my comment was stupidly, staggeringly unclear on my part. Calling a group of people stupid makes them easier to hate & discriminate against, whether based on race, gender, orientation, or transgenderism. I suggested itsjustme9006 agreed with Hitler that the only "good" people of the world are white, straight, & preferably male. And he is therefore full of it. The sarcasm was acutely heavy-handed. I apologize to you, he and everyone here for a momentary total lapse of good taste.

  • @Achillesinhistent: Oh - I see! I understand the purpose of your comment now. I apologise for misunderstanding and for having a go at you!

Thank you for coming back to post what you meant.

    Sorry about that! :-D

  • My fault. Again, I apologize for being tactless, not to mention overly terse. I consider this lesson learned: next time be clearer. (smack own forehead many times)

  • Can you explain to me about this more plz?

  • itsjustme9006, i suppose you don't realize that *you* are the only one choosing to be stupid, because ignorant fools who discriminate with no apparent reason are the only idiots of society (though there really is NO reason to discriminate).

  • GenderReblesUnite Rylan Blu Summmer 2007

  • As a Gender Identity challenged person myself I feel that the greatest obstacle is not being transgendered..but societies reaction...widespread rejection and exclusion....if difference was accepted as natural and non sinister the suffering would not be as great

  • This is so beautiful and sad.. Every time I watch this I almost begin to shed tears.

  • Message in video is true, but I think that we just approaching a border of new understanding and new concepts haw transgendered and such people could live happy and successful life, without all that costly operations. Much research is needed, and better public acceptance.

  • I don't think it would be nearly as bad if society wasn't a bunch of dicks!

  • I hurts knowing how bad it is,or to know how bad they feel.I'm a tomboy, and I dont see it as a problem, but I feel like I understand what their feeling. The fucking rejection hurts dudes...I almost went suicidal because it hurt me so bad.

  • I've watched a lot of videos this morning, and by far, this one was the best. Keep up the good work. Five stars!

  • This is an awesome video!! As an ftm and a human being, I appreciate the message. Your video goes beyond just the message though, it's beautiful and artistic (like you). You have a quite a talent. Thank you.

  • I must be really stupid..i didnt know that people her transgender as children! im not, but i was just curious...I do not judge for looks race of gender, but for contents of charector

  • Beautiful. <3 And very true.

  • until scrolling the posts i could not tell in which direction you were moving. you are stunning and beautiful, regardless

    thank you for sharing this

  • beautiful. i would love to know the name of the music in the background. it's lovely.

  • Besodefresa: Thanks :-D The music is 'Serenade' by Schubert.

  • Thank you.

  • Hello ... you are on a difficult journey which will ultimately produce personal contentment, but the price is VERY high. Sincere best wishes from one pretty girl to another ... :o)

  • Thanks...erm...I'm FTM not MTF. But thanks anyway :-D

And thanks to everyone else for your wonderful, positive comments!

  • Hello again ... my sincere apology. If I may 'say', you are sending-out some confusing signals which appear to be misread by other people as well as me. You will find observation of male family members and friends will teach you a great deal; and 'listen' to their conversations. Sincere best wishes for the future ... :o)

  • You are both handsome and beautiful, a feat that only a TS could ever master.

  • you made me very teary. I couldn't of said it any better. thank you for your words and pictures. from another ftm

  • That was so beautiful. I think my partner may be trans... They aren't sure themselves, so this makes me think a little... thanks for your effort in this video.

  • I think you are doing a geed job getting the message out of our existence & concerns.

    Hugs from a t-girl

  • I cried, you took the words right out of my mind. Thank you.

  • Chris, did you see a doctor, family or not, you are going to have to do something about your condition, this life is not a rehearsal, dont waste time, come out as the woman you really are.

  • Jackievoigt55 I agree. A lot of trans people choose to be out, many live in role, have surgery - there are so many choices and all of them should be empowering. The oppression is the way the world thinks about gender -not the person who is trans.

  • This is not to suggest that disability is a negative category, but that identifying populations through pity and internal self-objectification gets us nowhere in fight for equality and changing systems of oppressions.

  • I find this incredibly problematic. Blame on birth reflects disease, thus creating pity. This further objectifies the trans population. The blame is in our binary and exclusive society. Gender is not binary. Trans identification is made exclusive through society, not through identificaiton as a birth defect. I suggest placement of trans concern be re-focused.

  • Aww... that was so beautiful and sad at the same time. :'(

    Great video.

  • jk29ks: I'd just like to apologise for my misunderstanding. I have deleted the comments I wrongly directed at you. Sorry for my mistake :-D

  • excellent video!! very well done

  • Well done, an excellent video and the music is beautiful. I shall be recommending this to our Trans Youth group, if that is OK. Wishing you well, Felix.

  • frankiefelix, I'm glad you liked the video. Please do use it at your Trans Youth group if you want to :-D

  • Beautiful :)

    Thanks ^^

Snif ... i not speak very well english but i understand video hihi

    Good luck Boy :)

Eléo , queer mtf and little dyke hihi

  • Its all in how the person feels. Like for instance, I have always kind of felt more I guess you could say "girly" all of my life, going back to an extremely early age. It has nothing to do with how I want to look, its how I feel that matters more. It would be nice if the look could match the personality, but if you feel a certain gender, then you are that gender

  • a very beautiful touching video, thanks for posting!

  • a very beautiful, touching video, thanks for posting!

  • hi babe, thought your film was wonderfull and said many of the things that i wish i could

    hotboxinbabe xx

  • Hi there,

Thank you so much for this tender, touching video. I'm all recognition, you know ;-) And it's just awesome to read how many more there are who understand and/or recognise this!

Thanks again and I wish you all the best there is!

  • WOW that was awe inspiring. Myself i went through a gender change almost 10 years ago and i am very happy. I pray you are too. I don't identify as transgender nor transsexual that was just a phase on my life which is over. Great video.

  • Powerful video, thank you for sharing, hugs

  • pfft, gender identity disorder

  • Pfft, gender identity disorder.

  • Awesome video. I love it.

  • As a video teacher & TS, I liked the mood and story line. To bad you had some tech problems. That happens. Keep up the good work. Billie

  • there were no tech problems, IMO. That was part of the artestry of the video. I suggest you view the video again and really study it.

  • These "people" belong in mental institutions.

  • and bigots like you should also be there.

  • Why, if they function well in society should that be the case? It may be painful for them but most hold jobs and take care of themselves. Your opinions should not infringe on their freedom.

    Stop imagining you're better.

  • Who is this directed at? Who's infringing on whose freedom? Who's imagining who's better than whom. I am simply a transgender person expressing my feeling in pictures and words.

  • This was supposed to be a reply to jaguarnoelle's first comment, but doesn't seem to be showing up as such.

  • That was directed to the bigot, not you. You Tube sucks for the comment tracking.

  • awsome well done and asset to our comunity

  • Thank you

    That was great

    I favorited it

I myself am transgender and I am glad for this video

It makes me feel better and not so alone

Where I live there are other transgender people but they are all male to female attracted to males

So I kind of get left out being attracted to females

    Thank you again for this

    Thank you so very much

  • If you were really born into the wrong body, how is it TRANSgender? aren't you just one or the other? trans implies that you've switched. so did you use to be a girl? I don't get it...

  • Good point. Well, trans means 'on the other side of' so, my body is on the other side of my gender. Transexual is a better word for it because it implies one's body is wrong rather than one's gender because the gender cannot be changed but the sex can (to a certain extent). I was born with a female body and a male identity (i.e. I feel male inside and feel wrong in my body and feel wrong being treated as/called a girl). I hope this helps! :-D

  • It does help. Thank you. But I think your saying that ones body is wrong is incorrect or/and Hurtful. What about transgender people that love the way their body is. Does that make them any less of a man or woman as anyone else, Or less transgender than other people who identify as transgender and feel that they were born in the wrong body?

  • I also feel that their is alot of disrespect for other people are men or women with genitals that are not the norm for their gender. Just because a transgender woman identifies as being transgender because she has a penis and was "born in the wrong body" she often feel as if she has to label anyone with a gender variance to be transgender. But i think that transgender people who do that are being disrespectful.

  • Some ppeople you might consider transgender or transexual might not identify that way and might just identify as being a "regular" man or woman. Transgender identifying people should respect that and not say that they are transgender when the person doesnt identify that way. Its a sick cycle. Transgender identifying people often do what cisgender people do to Transgender people.

  • So are transgender/ transexual people trans becasue they are transitioning? What if they have always been a girl or a boy? Are they still transgender? What makes someone transgender? Is it they themselves agreeeing with society and saying that they are different and identifing as transgender or is it is their someone who dictates who has to identify unwillingly identify as transgender even if that person may not agree?

  • Transgender is an umbrella term that covers those male-to-females and females-to-male that crossdress, are pre-operative transexuals, post-operative transexuals, drag queens, etc. Imagine a rainbow. You are one one unique part of that rainbow. So are all of us. Gender identity inclusive. Transgenders and dressing in the opposite 'sex' of what society has taught us is not a sexual act. It is simply an expression of who we are.

  • that is a very narrow minded belief. Saying that FTM and MTF "that Crossdress" is like saying that who they belief to be is not who they really are, they are simply dressing up in the "opposite gender" as if when they go home, take their clothes of the become again defined by what they genitalia look like. there are plenty of ftm or mtf that would never change their sex or get on hormones, and dressing is an expression of who anyone is not just transgender people.

  • Goths wear dark clothing for the most part to express it. preppy people wear hollister or abercrombie to try and show that they are preppy.

  • Well, not exactly. The prefix "trans" implies movement and change from one state to another, not a static state. A transoceanic flight crosses an ocean. A transmission goes from one place to another. A transition is the process of changing from one state to another. A transsexual is someone who is changing their sex. Since my transition, I am not a transsexual, I am a woman. The term is, unfortunately, commonly used to denote people who have transitioned.

  • Mind if I ask you a few personal questions?

What would you do about this situation if you were born in a time in which you could not change your body?

Do you feel the body you were given is a "mistake"?

If so, how did that mistake occur? In essence I'm asking whose mistake it was.

  • Answers to jaguarnoelle:

If I could not change my body, I would dress in male clothes anyway. If I could not do this, I might have committed suicide.

Yes, I feel it was a mistake or error of some sort.

It was the mistake of either God or of the science God created.

  • (more questions)

Do you feel there is any purpose behind the fact that you were born in a body the sex of which you do not identify with? What good might come of that? Do you feel that if gender was veiwed differently by todays cultures that this situation would either be non existant for you or significantly modified in its effects?

I mean no disrespect. Only answer what you feel comfortable answering. And thank you.

  • Answers to jaguarnoelle's other questions:

I don't feel there is a purpose other than God or God's science has made me like that.

Possibly no good will come of it.

The situation would be significantly modified in its effects, but not completely as the body is still extremely uncomfortable and painful to be in.

  • Thanks for your answers.

If culture could treat gender differently, how would you like it to, specifically?

  • I've another question. Would you feel happy with a body that reflected the gender you experience yourself to be or would it take looking a certain way to be satisfied?

For example I have a transgendered friend who passes as female bodied most of the time and has small breasts but seems intent on getting bigger and bigger breasts even so. It tends to make me wonder how far the desires go.

  • So delicate video,it´s lovely, thank you so much for uploading it. "To born into a body...like a cage", that it´s really true, very true. Our body is our cage. Everyone has their own cage, but maybe they don´t realize it yet. (Amazing vid! Love!)

  • love your video

  • K, you are a brave young man. I hope all goes well and that your parents truly understand. You make a great looking guy! All my best,

    Dave (an understanding parent!)

  • This video is sad.

Just be the one ,who you want to be. Don't try to include GOd and Blah Blah Blah.

I want to start my transition after I let my parents know about me.

  • My parents know about me. I'm going to take T and have top surgery. Good luck with coming out to your parents and with your transtion! :-D

It's a shame some people can't cope with the whole transgender thing. I made the video to help them understand but if they don't want to understand, then let's just let them wallow in their own ignorance shall we? ;-D

  • the only problem is, if we let them wollow in their own ignorence, genrally if they have a problem with it, if they are screwed up enough, more of us could be killed, after all, it seems to me that by this vid, you dont want the ignorant to stay ignorant

  • What a crap vid! I agree with hughthepope! Jesus, talk about wallowing in it! why not jus get up and do something about it rather than makin sad point less vidoes! your just repeating the same phrase over and over and just re-wording it! Jesus, we get it! your transgender!

and before you complain to "Reenie", it's not Tom, it's Jack (or perhps you no me as anne??)

  • i don't mean to sound harsh, but i really pisses me off when people just wallow in it rather then trying to do something about it!

  • Crap video? They are explaining what transgenderism is and how much it freaking sucks so people can understand how it feels to be transgendered. MOST people know NOTHING about what it feels like to be transgendered, genius. No one's "wallowing" in anything. But, I'm sure you wouldn't be happy happy joy joy if you were born in the wrong body. This video is both touching and educational. Quit complaining.

  • i understand u , if my transition is finish now, be sure of u, be yourself !

    i'm happy now... ;)

    Esteban

  • this is sooooo nice loved it. great job

  • What an amazingly crappy movie that is just a grouping of repetivewors and is offseted by a godaweful soundtrack Well Done KDP

  • Fantastic and educational video.

  • It touched my Heart and Soul.I cried as I reflected on my own life watching snapshots of yours... Blessings my kindred friend~* Your sister, Allason

  • Thank you for this video.

  • When I walked by a mirror in my house, I would turn away from it because I hated what I saw. I remember I was 8 years old lying in bed going to sleep praying that I woke up in the morning with that horrible appendage between my legs gone. I had never saw a vagina, but yet I knew that what was between my legs was wrong and not supposed to be there.

  • This should be shown in every sex-ed class and discussion everywhere.

  • Totally agree.

  • DEFINITELY agree.

  • really great montage set to music

  • well presented, soft and gentle, a refreshing inspiration of your perspective of what it is to be transgeder.

  • Thank you very much, finnaly somthing that express how I feel. Thank you

  • hope it helps some people understand a little more

  • thank you.
