Im a liberal, I voted for Obama, Kerry, Gore and Clinton.
I can get behind Ron Paul...One of the very few congressman still doing the people's work. Despite my disagreement with him on several fiscal policies...at least he is honest.
That isnt something I can say for many "representatives" currently.

As an auditor myself, I can see how a regulator institution who need not answer to anyone, has the ability to run a corrupt agenda, no one is claiming that they are "..." however the risk that the ability exists is in itself a threat, if the purpose of the federal regulation is to mitigate harm to the the US economy how can we esure that the proper balance is in place? In other words, who is really keeping this check in place?
