Calderon has been in the middle of a civil war since his presidency began. He has much greater problems than helping America (though that's primarily what his drug war is doing).
Also, the whole "illegal immigrant" thing began only a few decades ago and it actually is America's fault. America's economy depended on seasonal migrant workers from Mexico. When we stopped allowing seasonal migrant workers, they became illegal residents, because crossing the border every spring and fall was too risky.
You missed the message again! Calderon is using your nation and people to make himself richer. He gripes at the U.S. for our laws and he has bad laws for those who cross into his country illegally. Why do the Mexican people come? Better life! Opportunity is made for them here. Why can't Calderon help his people? Place the blame on someone else? Don't show your weakness by calling names. When I see those people 27 seconds into the video I want to cry for them. They look like good people fleeing a horrible place and need our help. Thier country is a mess. That being said, our actions are not as legally resticted as in other parts of the world, although we are not the #1 country in freedoms. If you are gay, for instance, you are not allowed to wed in most of the country, and you cannot openly serve in the armed forces. Other countries give gays more freedoms. The native americans were not magically liberated from tyranny by sticking them in reservations and taking their lands

Calderon has been in the middle of a civil war since his presidency began. He has much greater problems than helping America (though that's primarily what his drug war is doing).
Also, the whole "illegal immigrant" thing began only a few decades ago and it actually is America's fault. America's economy depended on seasonal migrant workers from Mexico. When we stopped allowing seasonal migrant workers, they became illegal residents, because crossing the border every spring and fall was too risky.

Why do Latinos think they are above the law?
I don't see millions of Irish, African, Chinese, or any other group protesting the enforcement of immigration laws - just Latinos.
Do they believe they are superior to everyone else? If so - that's called racism. These descendants of Spanish invaders are not above the law - they need to stop their racist ways and obey the law. They do not have a right to disrespect America's borders.

When I see those people 27 seconds into the video I want to cry for them. They look like good people fleeing a horrible place and need our help. Thier country is a mess. Who can blame them for wanting to come here? Please remember that when some wave the Mex flag it might also represent thier family, friends, and thier culture. That IS something to be proud of so don't let it bother u friends. Many of them want to b loyal citizens of the U.S. and still love Mexico, thier old home.

If they want to be Americans, fine, but leave Mexican flag behind, You can love your country and if you don't want to obey our laws and help build a great America, stay home and make Calderon make your land good for it's citizens. Thats why I welcome the imigrants and hope many more will join us on this side of the border. Maybe we could give greater legal opportunity for our brothers and sisters down south while still keeping the drug traffic out. @JoyceUSA1 The only liberty we have is the liberty to obey the law. That being said, our actions are not as legally resticted as in other parts of the world, although we are not the #1 country in freedoms. If you are gay, for instance, you are not allowed to wed in most of the country, and you cannot openly serve in the armed forces. Other countries give gays more freedoms. The native americans were not magically liberated from tyranny by sticking them in reservations and taking their lands

Freedom and liberty are fine, but we don't have the freedom to steal, and we don't have the freedom to infringe on other people's rights. I don't ride horses, they are a luxury where I am from, and i cannot afford to won one.

I think that he is too permissive of big business interests, and he, like Bush, is cooperating with wealthy people who are bent on getting unfairly rich off the work of American people. Obama and the people in Congress have to know that it is not ok to sellout to corporate donors and the rich. That is the threat to America.

Phoenix has had over 500 protesters hit the Capital bldg. area and we are told no white person is safe there. We need to pray and support the brave citizens of AZ.
