  • I always wondered why there are some locomotives in front of a train. Is that because they all work to make the train advancing? Surely, however it seems there's nobody inside them, it's only in the first one that there's somebody.

  • @Philosupremum You're correct that the lead locomotive is manned (engineer and conductor). The other units may be used to help pull the train, or they may simply be in transit from one terminal to another.

  • I ran this motor from fort smith Arkansas to north little rock when I was a fireman last winter

  • Nice locos and a fine train. Thumbs up! :)

  • I wish the SPs still had their full light package.

  • Hey bud, I gotta let you know that your channel has a terrible color choice. White text on a very light yellow background is absolutely unreadable.

Cool vids though. I highlighted the text so I could read it, but you might want to change that color combo. :)

  • @satancouldkillyounow Should be fixed. I don't know how the wrap text got set to white, but it's back to black now.

  • I want the old mechenical bells back

  • What Road is this?

  • What Road is this?

  • Amazing Catch!

  • That SP remains unpatched aside from the yellow numbering.

  • Very nice catch!

  • very nice train

    cool

  • great stuff,.

  • Nice catch Brent..WP rolling stock is a rarity these days.

  • @rare12inchsingles Thanks.

  • Cool! Was this the M-PRSS?

  • @trainmaster55 No, he was heading south. MSSPR.

  • @Brenton81 Ok thank you!

    Alex

  • Nice one! What camcorder do you use?

  • @gt3corn Thanks. My HD videos were shot using a Canon Vixia hf200 digital camcorder. Most of my others were shot with a (now retired) Panasonic PV-GS65 Mini-DV. I just got an external mic for my Canon, so hopefully it'll cut down on the wind noise.

  • @Brenton81 OK thx for the reply. These vids look unreal clear. :)

  • Awesome catch and nice video, Brent! They need to send 1995 (and 8701, 8646) down the Adams Sub more often. I still have yet to even SEE any of them, let alone get them leading a train.

  • @HighIronofWisconsin It would be nice just to see more traffic on the Adams Sub, period. I never really head up around there because I hardly ever see anything. I think I've been stopped once in Ashippun by a coal train and that's it.

  • WOW great catch! how often is this line used?

  • @TrainmanEvan Thanks. There's at least 6-8 trains a day.

  • AMAZING catch Brent! 5*****

  • @moon47mars Thanks!

  • Nice train. Couple of interesting things in it too. UP heritage unit, ex. Southern Pacific unit, Western Pacific boxcar, Chicago and Northwestern Covered hopper, Southern RR boxcar, a bunch of Chilled Express insulated boxcars or reefers... a good consist. Why was it going so slow though? Was it entering a town or was it at track or restricted speed?

  • @PereMarquette1223 Thanks. He was waiting for a couple more warrants. Rather than get to the end of their limits and stop, he just rolled along at a slower pace so he could keep moving while the train ahead cleared.
