Watch Scrubs season 5 or 6 it happened to Dr Cox, I can't remember off the top of my head which season it happened but the reason the writers wrote that into the show is because the actor playing Dr Cox's ex wife(They have a complicated relationship) became pregnant in real life so they worked it into the show.
