Dirigent: Karajan; Oper: Lohengrin; Komponist: Wagner. Fragt sich nur och, wer das alles zum Klingen gebracht hat, d.h. welches Orchester??? Denn ohne Orchester bleibt jeder Dirignet, Komponist stumm
@quegrossocurly, sure you are better musician than Barenboim, and surely you can play perfectly the Beethoven's 32 piano sonatas. All those musicians are fantastic, included Barenboim!
@sultanov10 His record of the Beethoven's 32 sonatas are surely the worst record i've ever known, insignificant if this is compared to Brendel's recording. lol Not all musicians are fantastic! Especially not this guy, who made his fame by crying for attention to Rubinstein or by sucking the popularity of Ms Dupré.
@quegrossocurly Well, that's interesting to read it about Barenboim, but... I meet one Barenboim's pupil, and some pupils of Barenboim's pupils, and I can tell you, I know his work, and I can confirm you that it's not bad music work, believe on me! Greetings!
I love it, I love it. My first exposure to Wagner. I suggest you listen the Prelude to Act One as a dialogue between lovers; there are clearly two musical voices as one narrative responds to the other. Follow it along and see where it goes. Then play Sinatra's Makin Whoopee.
@lovingee1 My friend I'm totally agree with you ! Friederich Nietzsche, a genious, wrote, about Wagner music's, that is the Dionisyac Music, the music of the strong emotion. It leads us to the Heaven. In Wagner's opinion the Walhalla
The best Wagner conductor and one of his best performances of this piece of music.. It is not surprising King Ludwig II of Bavaria (Bayern) was impressed by the beautiful music of the opera Lohengrin.
Ah! Sir Lohengrin! The Swan Knight!

Furtwängler, Knappertsbusch, Swallish, Karajan & Wagner are stepbrothers for me. Fuck you Barenboim!

Wagner must have visited heaven before writing this piece. How else would he know what it is like.

I thought perfection wasn't possible until I heard this. Not a single note out of place.

But he did change his mind became highly critical of Wagner even singing the praises of Bizet's Carmen as moving us away from the cold North

Which orchestra is this?

@philmkim must be the Berliner Philharmoniker
