  • do you need a special inkt or something?

  • fucking southern USAers...y'all...lol losers!

  • @aubhar fuck you yankee

  • yall yalll yall yall yall

  • How old are Rob and Corinne

  • the iron on thing. you can do it in paint as well. just paste the picture and go up the image. then go to flip and rotate. you should figure it out from there

  • Shut-up seeker2dream, you sound like a nightmare. These guys make it look really easy but it's not. I ruined a new t-shirt trying this, but my client will be ready for the show and thats all that matters. Oh well...

  • dude ah is tat paper used to transfer to the t.shirt..!!!! is tat available everywhere?? i dint find man!!!

  • You guys are so lame, just show how to print designs

  • the girl who sent in the video sounds like the murdering prostitute from the movie Monster...

  • nope just southern I should know I'm surrounded by them

  • does it have to be a laser printer ??

  • i have a deskjet printer will that work?

  • works with inkjet and laser but th paper is different, just got to chose wich one suits ur printer

  • Comment removed

  • do you have to use photoshop? I MEAN cant you just print the picture? without going to photoshop ? and do you need a transfer paper. does it work on normal printer papers? :)

  • ima answer your question they use photoshop to turn the image horizontal and no you cant use regular paper

you need the iron on transfer paper.

  • no, u have to reverse it or the pic will be backwards on the tee-shirt!

  • @TheMinusGirl you don't need photoshop, just some program to reverse the image because if not, when you put the design on, it'll come out backwards. and the reason why you need transfer paper is because it transfers just the ink onto the shirt. regular paper won't do anything, all you'll end up with is a warm piece of paper... :/

  • Thank you (: , I got the transfer paper, yeah I just use Photo-bucket to do that instead of photoshop

  • I thought you where supposed to use a ink jet printer.

  • can u use a normal computer printer???

  • rob is so cool and very cute! <3

  • i've just started making my own clothes and I'm still not very good at stitching (especially wide stitches) around sharp curves. After ironing on the applique is it necessary put a stitch around the edges? I image that it works just like interface with which you don't secure with a stitch but i'm not sure... anyone know the answer?

  • Pretty much after the first wash it will start peeling at the edges.

  • Would it work the same if i used a regular printer instead of a laser printer ?

  • sweettttt!

  • yall got any ideas? do all yall? lol.

  • dear threadbanger

i'm pretty creative, but i'm stumped on how i can decorate my school locker, and keep it organized at the same time help!

    elizabeth

  • tytytyyt

  • omg that comment just oh so necessary, thank you soooo much, seriously, that negative comment was so worth your time typing and has so much to do with the video.

    bravo.

  • much like how your reply was so necessary.

  • mhmm,i have expendable time to point out stupid things.

saw ur comment, and just couldn't resist;)

  • This was really helpful, thanks.

  • i bought a transfer that's black and white, it says it's only for light material but i really want to put it on a black top! what will happen if i do?

  • Is an inkjet printer good for those iron on transfers???

  • that applique is so AWESOME

you guys are so great ♥

  • lmao! I love your little random skits in the middle of everything. they're so lame but SO funny. ThreadBanger, you rule.

  • Corrine, how do you make that scarf your wearing? It doesn't look knitted... But it looks SO cool!

  • so a laser jet printer is fine? I thought we had to have an ink jet printer for iron-on transfers.

  • lol that iron on technique comes in handy when putting my lacoste alligators on my regular polos hahah!

  • hey i love your scarf, is there a way you could make something like that?

  • Same can u show us

  • i like appliques, but i cant sew... but dont worry, im gonna do something even cooler with it! just wait!

  • lol altra kawaii just sounds lame. only wapanese people say that -_-

  • yall yall yall.

    Bek!

  • Dear Rob & Corinne, I'm sucha big fan! =D! Can I have ur autograph? lol

  • hey guys, you inspire me so much that i bought myself a new sewing machine. I dont know how to sew yet but i'll learn somehow... and i m diggin out my old wardrobe and saving recyclable materials for ... PROJECTS!!!! YAY!

  • Yay! We're so glad we inspired you to DIY!

  • That is so damn awesome.

  • I love how Rob never shows his face in the ROCK and ROLL sene!!lol Rock on guys I LOVE you!

  • Did you say laser printer?!?! Just an FYI You have to be careful when using transfer paper in a laser printer, and make sure it is graded to work in one. In my experience, when I worked in a copy shop, we had an associate put transfer paper graded for a inkjet into our color laser, and spent two days trying to get the stuff cleaned out of our printer.

  • I love your show keep it up...

    i'm threadhead binging!!!

  • lol thanks!

  • Thanks! I have never fully understood appliqués but I think I will try it out when I make some hoodies next month!

  • I love the feather shirt.

  • xD I like the banana hoodie

  • you should do a segment on reverse appliques . . like fairy wings or a ribcage design. maybe an anatomical heart . .

    `snip snip

    scissors out

    ~cassika

  • I second that!!

  • ROB YOU MEANIE! You know you'll be the best dressed couple. :P

  • ThreadBanger inspired me to get up off my butt and make stuff. :)

  • Awesome! Now how bout sending in some pics or a video of that stuff?

  • Only 3 or 4 times. Nerves I'd bet.

  • Do you think threadbangers could show how to make a bag for a digital camera or computer, something w/ durable material and padded? They are so expensive at stores and usually made w/ leather which I don't want to use. I love your show!

  • Would I be Posible to use

    Makers Instead of printing

    out paper

and using all of that ink??

  • Great idea.

    Can't wait to try.

  • corinue is so cute. i wanna kiss her cheeks.

  • This is such a cool show

  • Hey threadbangers

i have a lote of beanie babys that I never use anymore do you have any ideas want i could do with them all ???

  • corinne, im sorry, but you need to come up with a new routine when rob is talking. it annoys the hell out of me. everytime, you look at rob, look at the camera, and nod your head until its your turn to start talking again. again, im sorry, but seriously.

  • Have you noticed sanichiwa that I do the same thing when Corinne is talking ? To tell you the truth there isn't much else to do but smile and nod till the other person is done...If you watch any show on TV with 2 hosts...they also do the same thing....Rob

  • oh, haha. SORRY CORINNE!!!

  • dont wear the iron on transfers in a mosh pit, it goes all cracked and peels off :P.

  • Lol the Kiss thing they are such loser I love them. =D

  • paint also flips the image really easily

  • You lose quality tho

  • no you dont. i have a totaly cool examole i made the other day!

  • *example

  • I like the banana hoodie. :)

  • banana hoodie FTW

  • The iron ons that I use are made so that you don't have to reverse the image. I highly recommend finding that instead because it's very nice and doesn't crumble off like some others.

Also, getting iron on letters are a good idea, too

I once made all my friends tee shirts with some pictures on them and their names and they loved them!

  • ya but inside your freinds were hingking "oh god,now i haf 2 wear this crap!"

  • AWESOME!!!

  • Uhh... the tree design looks like Timberland logo XD It's even more rare if you make own designs on Photoshop (or other software applications) for your lame t-shirts! If using available logos (images etc), make sure it's only for private use (hence no money-making schemes)

I gotta try the first method :3

    Rob is always adorable <3

  • I'm not sure where your from Underwaterphone but where i come from the Word "Rad" is still pretty frickin Rad.....seriously....-Rob

  • wow. i had no idea...rad, i guess!

  • I;m sorry underwaterphone but not all of us can be effortlessly perfect all the time.

And personally I that if you have the audacity to call sonething "extremely pretentious" then you yourself must be extremely pretentious.

Hope your day is RAD, Dazz

  • you can just use MS paint to flip the image too

  • aw. refusing the promposal... ;_;

  • Wouldn't it have been easier to use an exacto knife instead of scissors????

Just a thought for safe sanity

  • could u have the prom week video out earlier? our school as it this next week already:(

  • I wonder if I can desing my own iron-ons, instead of taking them from the internet?

  • As long as you have pphotoshop or similar and can design stuff, all you have to do is reverse and print. I have done this loads of times before now for birthday presents. One of them I got a picture of a field mouse, edited around and put the word "Hung like a field mouse" on it and voila instant funny present for my mate. He was pretty impressed xD

  • I work at Micheals's. there is a type of fabric you can use to draw your own design but I dont really recommend it cause if you try to fill in the color it looks kinda streaky. You might want to draw it scan it on to your computer then print it on the paper they recommend.

  • You can't go wrong with appliques. Anyone can do it! :D

  • Hm.. what if you want to print a white design onto a black t-shirt? I've been thinking about stopping by Office Depot and picking up a few iron-on transfer sheets. First need to know if there is anything different I need to do for my situation. :S

  • You buy those specific iron on paper transfer things for black tshirts.

  • There are special dark iron ons for dark shirts. They carry them at almost all stores that carry white ones. I get mine at staples. ;)

  • I liked the tree design. For the really lazy/busy people like me, you can use big, snazzy pins or buttons on your lapels and a crazy scarf to go with your pea coat.

  • i work at michaels and people come in all the time asking how to use the iron on transfers, i would much rather have an actual piece of fabric as the design

    -Corinne

  • I wanna c the prom one! lol

  • That was great, a little too basic for me but would love to see more on this and other fabric embellishing. how a bout laser cutting fabric??? silk painting??? reverse applique!!! yup, give us more please.

  • Is there anything speacial you should do if your putting transfers on the front and back of a shirt?

  • hey CheesyCheese01 you dont have to settle for screen printing. i work at a sign shop and we make tshirts here but we use a new style of tshirt making. we do direct printing into the shirt. if you want to know more about it just hit me up.

  • the t-shirt one looks awsome one with the flag, surprised how easy that is.

  • lol, I'll go to prom with you Corrine

  • I can wait for the prom one!!!

    <333

  • could you make a link for a template of that tree? i want a picture of something from TBrs on either my jeans or my shirt

    C=

  • I wish iron-on transfers looked nicer.

I have a really detailed design I want to put on t-shirts and it looks like screen-printing's the only way to go.

    Sorry, that was random.

I liked the first project you did a lot. :)

  • "Will you go to prom with me?"

    "Tch. No." lol

  • i love how over time u can see her hair growing AWESOME I Luv Ur Hair!! lol ^_^

  • Great channel - Loving all the videos!

All i need is a sewing machine hehe :D Keep up the good work and fab ideas.

  • Where can you get applique fabric and that fuse-able web (or whatever it was)? D:

  • You can applique almost any fabric, but for practical purposes use cottons, plain or printed about the weight of dress shirts or jammies. The fusible web is available at any fabric store or department.

  • get heat bond, wallmart or chain store style fabric and craft place like michael or joanne. It comes in thick heavy duty and thinner one that wont be to stiff.

  • Wow thats Awesome!!

  • Thanks!

Every time I see you have a new video, I'm always surprised that it is Friday already! Oh, my life.

  • This is one of my faves

  • 1. Go to the prom with her!

    2. My sms from overseas won't reach you - not fair!

    3. I cut out a plastic tree similar to yours, put it on a black trouser and spray-painted it blue, so that a negative image appeared. It looks great!

  • One of the Best yet!!! Simple and super effective!!!!

  • love you guys

  • bitchinn!!! =]
