i detest pastel colours with a passion!

it reminds me of everything cheezey about the 70's

@Cre8iveSignWorks Well how do pastel colours make you personally feel? If you hate them, is it because they make you feel sick? Or are they too feminine? You can use these associations in your own work. Let's say you wanted to express how sick something made you feel, you could use those colours in a "gross" or "disgusting" way. Maybe make them dribble or something....I dunno, just a thought. I did this a lot as I studied at art school for 4 years :)

ah yes i see what you mean...and you are right!

i think they do feel like feminine colours to me....even baby blue feels feminine and its what mothers dress their baby boys in...i never liked that much...and i think youre right in that the colours do make me feel a bit sick.

this is probably why i couldnt use them in my work.

i guess i just much prefer big fat bold colours that pop!
