BECAUSE THEY HAD THE REP OF BEING A PURELY FUNK BAND "(SKINTIGHT", "FIRE" ETC..) i LIKE YOUR GROOVE. WHAT TYPE OF DRUM IS THAT GUY PLAYING? IS IT JUST A CARTON BOX??

What he is playing is called 'CAJON' (means 'box' in Spanish)

In resent years in Japan, 'CAJON' is very popular because of its compactness.

@dehdehnlacks Sweet Sticky Thing was from the '75 alblum, "Honey". Very nice tune as the rest of that alblum was, beautiful landmark recording from a hood group!
