    Expo Hall

  • reply continued to skymods77.

Did G/L join to play guitars?

Maybe so. If Mary play a guitar? my memory is uncertain, sorry Mary.

  • Really very nice, beautiful Mary's song.

Thank you Tommy for posting it.

  • Hello friend,

Thanks and I 'm happy to hear from you.

This is from Satsuma, southern end of Kyushu Island (but maybe larger than Ireland).

    Cont's.

  • I have read a book, an ambassador from England whose family name was "Soto", has introduced and translated satsuma for you.

Do you know satsuma means potatoes for sweet pie here in Japan?

I know satsuma (mandarin oranges in UK and Sverige) ;D We call them "mikan" although mikan trees are very popular in Satsuma district.

The Body Shop (cosmetics from UK, popular and loved here) sells mikan line-ups of mandarin orange flavours.

Mikan, satsuma, sakura and tsunami are today English words!

  • Thank you! Have a nice Sunday evening! (^.^)

  • It's 5pm and the sun is above the mountain here ;D

    bye now,

    Tommy

  • Past 9 AM here; I'm having breakfast and having some Japanese green tea with it, lol. ^^

    Bye! :)

  • What a cool looking record at the end!

  • Thanks for your lovely comment!

The original Post Card, red one, is my treasure. But Temma Harbour is not included in it. while MAry's compilation "Those Were The Days CD", maybe you know, has this song. I recommend you the paper-sleeve special from Toshiba-EMI issued in 2005 because photos imitating the original (UK issue) are very beautiful and it includes lyrics card.

    Regards,

    Tommy
