its basically a bike frame with suspension which can easily be 1500 and some had twin tip skiis which i imagine aren't that cheap so pretty easily

@mountainbika91023 My front suspension bike cost $400 maybe. And it is pretty good. These have smaller(cheaper) frames. Skis may cost $300. That is only $700, half that.

Hey asshole! I'm fifteen years old and i've been riding one for like one season now, and it is perfect. I can both ride in powder without falling and I can pull tricks in the bigjumps. It is amazing! I can ride the wallrides and stepdown boxes too. And I promise i can stop EXACTLY as quick as someone with skiis or snowboard. It is just a question about skills, and obviously you reeeaally sucked.

These bikes are pretty fun, one thing i don't get though. the foot pegs are mounted rigid to the rear skis. this eliminates the riders ability to receive any gain from rear suspension. I say either somehow hang the foot pegs of the main frame or get rid of the rear suspension and save weight. Fun bikes

you havent looked at it long enough there is a hinge on top of each rear ski so if there is weight on the footpegs the bar that they are on will change angle increasing the distance between the front ski and the rear skis so you do get suspension you need to look at it hard to understand but it was built by professionals so have some faith :P

Yes the pivot allows the skis to articulate, but there is absolutley no travel between the foot pegs and the rear skis. I dropped alot cliffs on to hard pack and I KNOW from experiance you get zero travel on the rear while standing. The only way for the rear suspensinon to work is when there is weight on the seat. Just so you understand go out and stand on your bike. Lean back so the front ski is off the ground. Now jump on the pegs and see how much travel you get. Lates B

yes you do just think. you said you get suspension when you are on the seat right? if the seat goes down what happens to the foot peg bars? they move back it just has less leverage its the same as a bike take ur bike outside push on the foopegs dont let you bike move backwards and pull on the handle bars the suspension is stiff and yes if you arnt pulling the handle bars it wont compress on just the rear but put all three skis on the ground and jump on the pegs it will compress suspension
