Really interesting interpretation. I really liked your ornamentations, very precise and well defined. You also maintaned the polyphony very clearly, which is essential when playing a fugue, especially such a challenging one. I can only say congratulations and keep posting other interpetations!
This is awesome! What amases me is that Bach wrote it for the violin, which has four strings, and was able to put a full three part fugue out of this instrument. What a genius! And your interpretation is wonderfull!
Wonderful playing! I'm trying to learn classical guitar and I would love to be able to play this piece one day (though not as well as you're playing it though)
Beautiful interpretation ( I watched from a distance for fear you should sneeze ; -) Playing such a long piece flawlessly is a real challenge .! Sincere congratulations .
I really enjoy this piece and your interpretation makes it all the more beautiful, as is the same with all your pieces on youtube!
I have a quick question for you if you have the time. How do you start learning pieces, or in other words do you start pieces by practicing very slowly or fast? I always find that when I learn a piece slowly it feels like I'm not getting anywhere as far as perfecting my technique in the piece.
I don't tend to practise a new piece slowly from start to finish (it's too boring!), instead I usually identify any particular passage that is giving me difficulty, practise it in isolation until it works and then re-insert that passage back into the flow of the music that comes before and after it.
Wow! Feel like I'm getting hit by classical missiles on youtube.
Per Olov [AndanteLargo] just dropped a bomb with his ultra romantic "tears in heaven" and now we get some classical styled classical guitaring.
I thought that the guitar wouldn't stand up to the piano if not confronted on an emotional/romantic front, but pros like you are beginning to make me wonder.
Thanks, you're inspiring amateurs around the world.
