@robbie2737 I once got a Blade 120SR, after I read heaps of stuff about it. I got the impression from my research, and heaps of comments like yours, that it was a pretty good heli.

The unit I got flew like a piece of crap. Highly unstable, with a bad toilet bowl effect. Totally unflyable indoors, and useless outdoors, in any wind, on account of being so lightweight. The tail motor failed on the third flight.

@robbie2737 I just picked up a Syma S006 from an op shop for $7 AU. Wasn't even expecting it to fly. But it did, quite nicely, straight out of the box, just like the Blade had promised to.

What's the moral of the story? ...just because you pay $180 for something after you've read good reviews on it, still doesn't always guarantee, you wont get landed with a dud. Instead, just grab something on impulse, that you know nothing about, pay peanuts for it ...and you often get lucky.

@CarmageddonFAN I agree that the price you paid was good,but all u can really do with this co axial is just hover & maybe a slow turn or two.....The 120 cranks up at a decent speed on the swahplate advanced settings which in turn increases heart rate which equals FUN...infact,now that I just purchased the Blade mCPX...J hardly even fly the 120sr anymore...The mCPX is a complete animal ! happy flying

Thesse helicopters are shit, if your looking for a good helicopter get the syma flash. get your money worth out of them , i have one of these and a flash, this one doesnt charge.

I have this helicopter and i truly did not like it ..first off you can like only fly it indoors or else it wont fly in any wind conditions like nothing over 1 mph winds..Runs out of battery life too quickly and i recommend

This is a great 3ch helicopter for beginners. it is damn near indestructible, fairly cheap, and its a great heli to to learn how to fly with. I would say this is the perfect first RC helicopter.

Set the trim.........Keep pressing the button until it elevate straight with out spinning.

Somebody help.....I got a syma s006, it does not elevate straight......keeps spinning (I adjusted the trim in the controller...no luck), also when taking off, I have to do it quick or use the hands as it goes out of balance right away (to the left)...any suggestions?

Also the s006 in the vid has a bad battery. Mine is much faster and when over modified it's too fast for indoor flight.

On the circuit board there is a potentiometer that needs to be adjusted if it is spinning out of control. It's cover in junk. Just scrape it off

The new version of this has a larger tail blade, so may be a better idea if you're thinking of going outside.

I agree with the tail motor comment below. Mine just went sailing next door with no control to bring it back. Had to land it in his garden. It has the power but seems like it needs bigger tail blades.

ive got this helicopter, but i find the tail rotar is not very strong and that the helicopter stuggles to move if there is even the tiniest ammount of wind? what can i do apart from fly it inside?
