It took this album a long time for my ears to click with everything. This is a strange masterpiece. I am a huge fan of extreme music but at times this is some of the most violent and scary music I have ever heard. It truly gets under your skin. I don't expect everyone to understand this type of noise but I love it. Definitely 'abstract' to say the least.

I think the way Little Women reaches that "line of fire" effect is that the painfully high saxes mixed with the thumping drums don't stop when they should. Everything lasts a little bit too long, making it incredibly painful. However, that pain is truly the pleasure in this situation. Audible Masochism FTW!
