Hate to burst your bubble, but aren't Patterson and Meeks pretty likely to be in the NBA next season. Meeks has a lot of hype that will make his draft stock higher than it will ever be again, and Patterson probably would already be there if he hadn't gotten injured last season.

Orton/Patterson/Meeks would be destructive, but it ain't happening.

He needs a stellar season to even have a chance at a good draft number against the picks of griffin, hansborough and lawson. He didnt have one. He had a lot of good games, but towards the end of the season, he blew it. No nba team would take him serious with the horrible ending at the end of this season.

What you don't know (no fault of your flipisatrip, not a lot of people know this) but UK has a transfer (Matt Pilgrim) that is better than PP that will get to play next year. So without PP we have a replacement and the great thing is he gets to practice all year and learn the system and get better going against PP in practice. We have a 6'6 5 star PG, and a very JUCO transfer PG who is 6'6. Harris,stevenson,Meeks, YES MEEKS baby will be here in 09. don't kid yourself, we will be good.

2. He and his Dad have shown up at EVERY UK camp practically, even a short 4 hour camp the other day. At one of the camps, his father gave a speech about what he like about UK.

3. Patterson and Orton together in the paint would be the best front line in the country.

4. Orton attended a camp at UConn and left with Huskies coaching staff saying that it would take a miracle to get him away from UK.
