how is sweet cheeks doing? Im about to make a harness for my sweet "Cok" I noticed you say she looks forward to wearing her harness every day... is this to say you remove it every night?
I love this Idea. My gold fish Mr Bubbles has a swim blatter problem to and this might be the sallution. Just got a few Q. for ya. Is the harness a hair srunchy, do you take it off at night, and does the harness damage the slim coat and scales? I look forwerd to talking to you and so does Mr Bubbles.
That's a great idea, but we're ahead of ya :)...We noticed this ourselves that she was way to buoyant and used a smaller cork in her harness. Now she hovers around the middle of the tank and can go as low and high as she likes.
This looks like a great invention for long-term sinkers, but I wonder if it would work for fancies with dorsal fins? hey, you could probably sell your invention.
gravel or grit and plants DO NOT increase the risk of infection if properly cleaned and prepared for the tank , no disease can be caused by grit or plants , infact grit and plants help the filtration process, i know all this because I am a experianced fish carer and i have written books myself on many animals you dont have a clue about goldfish
thats bullshit , typical american , you dont have a clue do you! your not a memebr of a goldfish assosiation ffs , that disease is swim bladder and ALL diseases are treatable if caught early enough. if you was a member of an association you would know full well how to handle a fish and NOT WITH YOUR HANDS!
are you stupid or what? you need to treat that not make up a rediculous thing like that to holder her up. AND YOU SHOULD NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER HANDLE A FISH WITH YOUR HAND although unseen it can create great damage to the scales and expose them to infections.
and imsorry but the tank is disgraceful and ILLEGAL , get some plants , make it clean , and treat the damn fish ffs
The disease is untreatable...we consulted a goldfish vet who is the author of the "Fancy Goldfish" book...Dr. Erik Johnson. The water is salted to prevent infection. The tank cannot have plants or gravel due to risk of infection. If you look at our other tank on the video, you'll see we know how to care for fish. We are members of the American Goldfish Association and know what we're doing. It's nice to know that you care so much about our "Sweet Cheeks", but you needn't concern yourself.

Awesome invention! Maybe you could cut a tiny bit of cork off so she can swim down easier because in the video it looks like it might be too buoyant.

Great idea. I don't mean to be nitpicky, but I thought of one other thing. I wonder if the harness could damage the slime coat or scales?
