@TheMarsellusWallace : you're super sick for undercutting people trying to make a quick buck. 40 dollars for a record with a 6 second drum solo?? nah, I'm cool.
@epillnero I noticed it today. I was a fan of Deltron 3030 and could hear this in their album perfectly. Then I met Mos Def. I was checking the wikipedia page to see the samples used and found that 88 used it too, but I cant hear this in Speed Law. Where it is?
One righteous lady who knows how to kick the blues and give pop some soul. As a teen, my friend and I met her and the rest of Fleetwood Mac when they played the venue in MD and stayed in our town at the Sheraton Hotel. I'll never forget her. Hope she comes out of retirement.
Since this album is so freakin rare now, are any of the tracks available on other collections? I see there is one other Christine Perfect collection out there, is it the same material??
@robcockayne Maybe it was album sales? I don't know how successful this album was, but I know she was dissappointed with the sales of her most recent album. I don't think she should be so critical of her albums because they're all fantastic, regardless of how many people bought them.
i could have sworn i heard a song by christine mcvie something about "its allright baby ill catch you on the next train" i have been looking and looking and cannot for the life of me find it any help would be greatly appreciated
I'm frankly astonished nobody's mentioned this before but:
starting at about 8 seconds into this song, imagine the drums a little louder and the tempo slightly faster. This song is the basis for Amy Winehouse's "You know I'm no good", and Ronson slid the sample right under people's noses. I'm impressed.
Otis Redding's cover of the song 'Down In The Valley', from the album Otis Blue (1966) also has that great bass/drum rhythm, though in a slightly higher key for some of the song. Very soulful arrangement.
@supermax1776 Please do not pay over $5 for this record. It is not hard to find. I have found 2 copies in the past 30 days. If you would like one, I will be glad to get it to you for $5.

Christine McVie was always "the one" in Fleetwood Mac. WAY BETTER VOICE & much more talent and better looks than Stevie ever hoped for.

I love Christine Mcvie. Totally under rated songwriter and singer. I love her blues sound.
