@ssiknick83 you are correct that Brian doesn't like the song. Saw him in concert about a year ago and flat out said he doesn't like singing the song. Really bummed me out since it was the one song I wanted to hear.

This is prob one of the most under-rated Beach Boys songs they ever did. And obviously one of the very best. Brian is a genius and if it wasn't for his a-hole father, God only knows where he could have gone further. He had his 'soul' beat out of him by that bastard-both literally and figuratively.
