why would they add water to the surface?

@poonhelm To help cure the surface so it doesn't solidify too quickly causing surface cracks.

in australia we generally use steel reinforcing mesh. you dont have to use that?

It is still used but not for this type of concrete because the 'fiber-weave' mixed in acts as the rebar or steel reinforcing mesh instead.

4000 dollars for all that. Wowww. Im from Canada and as pour concrete. I wouldnt do that for under 15000.

Nice video thanks for posting it. Just wondering how the concrete looks now? How is the surface? Is there any serious cracking?  I am a concrete contractor, and saw a couple "no-no's" from the guys placing it.

The surface still has it's 'broom grooves' brushed in..

Cracks only formed in the etchings cut into the concrete shown briefly at the end of this video.. No unexpected cracks what so ever anywhere the entire length of the driveway to this day.
