awesome! this piece is a beast, even more so in the solo version, i'm glad i found someone playing it on YT. i'll try to learn this, it's my favourite concerto (beside Medtner 2). I like your tempo as well, it's pretty much my reference, as in Schiff's recording. Given the technical difficulties, you did a fantastic job! =)
AWESOME JOB! Not too fast either in my opinion. For a good example of too fast, check out Helene Grimaud (whom I think is incredibly gifted) here on youtube who played with full orchestra and it's remarkably clean, just way too fast in my opinion. Actually for unaccompanied I think you played it wonderful. The few solo performances of this I have found range from draggy slow to about how you played it here.. Great job.
too fast!!! where s ur feeling? and with wrong performing. left hand and right hand sound not on same line, some part is bad. your fingers not ready enough as well. I suggest you play slowly and everyfinger detached and deeply.
@Jay931027 thanks for your honest criticism :) i played it in may on my final exam and they said it was quite good. i recorded it a month later, so i admit i wasn't in the best shape. i'm not a professional pianist so of course it's not perfect. but i can't agree with you on the speed part - i really like it that way :)
@zuzazla I have 14 versions of this Concerto in my collection. Your tempo is actually in the middle of all of those performances. Helene Grimaud, Pierre Hantai are faster than you, but no one weighs in much more than 30 seconds later than you. I think your tempo is quite nice. BRIAN Have you had the opportunity to play this with an orchestra yet? BRIAN
@Jay931027 who are you to say this is fast or slow? NO MAN could say that, only BACH himself. the only thing WE can do is guessing how did he managed to play this, to have some fun, feel a 'little' about his music. actually this 'little' is also majestic.
Faaantastic. You did a really good job! I envy you. I wish I could play this well!

@zuzazla It's fine to like it, but it's not even, and baroque is all about precision
