    If you like your bacon well done, you can cook the bacon a bit before wrapping the shrimp :)

  • oh this looks scrumptious!! anything wrapped in bacon is a win in my book :) ... so i was at barnes and noble today and saw Luke Nguyen's new cookbook "My Vietnam: Stories & Recipes" ... It reminded me of you because i remember you telling me that he was your favorite cook on TV. You should check it out.. the recipes in there looked really good!

  • Stupid buffering phone won't let me enjoy this. I love shrimp but my throat swells up when I eat it. I still tempt fate and take benadryl when I dine on lovely SKRIMPS. Your plating has gotten great and I intend to watch this again after work. Maybe I can make it for my honey bear tonight.

  • @freitasex I haven't tried it yet lol.. I didn't know you had one sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. I'm sure it's good :) What I meant is that most alfredos have soo much butter in them but maybe it doesn't taste like that when you mix it with the cheese. I'll give it a try some time!

  • freitasex, i would recommend if u could sharpen ur knifes abit. they look alil blunt and its very dangerous to have a blunt knife in a kitchen. just sayin from my experiences. anyway bravo on the recipe. Done quite smoothly.

    The shrimp were 15 count to the pound and cooked 4 minutes.

  • @freitasex : How do I keep my oven from smoking? Everytime I bake or roast something, my oven starts to smoke. Then my fire alarm goes off. I have to open the windows and doors to let the smoke out.

  • @GarchompXX123 They were chilled in the freezer 30 minutes prior to cooking and were stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon, I don't think 4 minutes is unreasonable.

    Oh Jeff, I think this would work very well on a weber grill.

    You would have to watch it close, but it does have a short cook time!

    Evergreen sounds excellent to serve a christmas dinner on, with some red food or something.

    Not that I am promoting christmas in any way....

    I bought my tangerine set because I like how they look like "Fall" and even sweet potatoes, an awesome color for food. Tangerine looks so good with yellow corn and green beans.

    I also saw something on TV yesterday about the star Orion Constellation.

  • @freitasex i love the tangerine color, it is a go to for my morning tea. the color is so cheery :) i ordered the scarlet set too. some times i think i put more thought into the color mixing for every one than the dinner itself LOL. when i got my first sets i burnt dinner because i got lost mixing and matching the plates. of course it still tasted good because it was on fiestawear LOL

    I am sure that this can be perfected a bit more with practice, but this was so awesome.

    Saw this on TV last week, and just had to try it.

    I did change it up.... they never put in the cayenne or the chili poblano....

    The chili poblano really did not make any major taste difference, but the cayenne was excellent.

  • OMG it looks so yummy! I like my bacon a bit more done so I may have precooked it for a couple of minutes but leaving it still pliable enough to wrap that shrimp and then fried it on all 4 sides. Oh goodness It looked so good! Hugs!

    I must admit that I am unusual... as I like my bacon 1/2 cooked and say, sort of limp.

    I love that extra fat taste not cooked out, but I realize most people like well cooked bacon.
