You are right Limbaugh never said the VA health Care is the best. You need to contact your local VA and ask them if Obama is trying to screw Veterans. He is working with Veteran groups to put together the best 2010 Budget for the VA. The idea was trying to increase resources for Veterans. Obama;s budget increases funds for the Department of Veterans Affairs from $98b now to $113b according to the budget summary. It also expands eligibility to 500,000 veterans that were not eligible.

You do know that they already currently collect reimbursement from private insurers. At present the amount of money for veterans health services that the federal government seeks reimbursement for from third-party payers, the private insurers, is $2.5 billion. Obamas proposed fiscal year 2010 budget would have boosted that reimbursement collectible to $3.4 billion, roughly a 36 percent increase.

So the idea that you said should never been thought about already exists.
