  • HOW DID YOU GET INSIDE.

  • @ArgotMay oh my dog im sure it is! hahaha

  • HOW DID U GET IN THERE!?! please please please please please please please reply!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mickeylou33 It's harder to get out; I am sure.

  • @jenaliza i was also there a year b4 yu tho in 85, good n bad memories but mostly bad

  • two of the fairfield hills buildings have been renovated for town use the town also plans to turn the entire property into a public recreation area. You can't really get into any buildings unless no one is around and you can find an open door, which my friends and I happen to find. You are required to stay 15 feet away from each building because of falling dabree most of the time there will be a cop patrolling the area. The under ground tunnels have been for the most part filled.

  • fairfield hills has been renovated ...and is no longer an abandoned hospital...unless someone can prove me wrong..??

  • I wouldn't recommend going there. They blocked off the tunnels in '09 I believe, and that was the best part. You would probably also get arrested for trespassing as well, and trust me, there is always at least one police officer patrolling the area. If you could get permission from the town or something then I would say go for it. I have been in there before, tunnels and all, back when we had soccer practice in the old gymnasium. I never saw anything paranormal, but it's definitely creepy.

    Also

  • I wanna go in a few week, but I'lll be by myself. Is this safe and is it all restored by now or what? Never been.

  • I was actually there in the summer of 1986 at the adolescent unit. anybody else there that summer?

  • are the doors there locked? I was thinking about heading over there soon

  • Thumbs up if you live in newtown

  • @jessejcbrl lol Bethel here :P family in Newtown though

  • exelent video man!!

  • very nicely done. I plan on doing something like this soon. Not going inside. Subscribe of course. I have learned so much about the history of this place. It was an amazing facility when it was first built. i also like the act that you went to the power plant not a lot of people even think of going there. Just discovered that recently. FFH also had it's own cow farm, and fire station.

  • man too bad there is so much security... personally being a paranormal investigator i personally would like to find out once and for all if the hospitol is indeed haunted, also talk to people who worked there get a tour from a guard or someone who has seen the paranormal activity or if no one has let my group go in an actually legally investigate... i have a weird feeling its not haunted

  • @spartangamer1 patients rely u call them that id call them test subs for the asylum

  • I live 10 minutes from Fairfield Hills :3

  • Wow you guys did a amazing job and you are 100% right in your video discription... When you go into places like that it is like stepping in to a time machine and going back. O and what state is this in?

  • @JoeFlex92 This facility stands in Newtown, CT.

  • @JoeFlex92 Newtown, Connecticut.

  • Wow you guys did a amazing job and you are 100% right in your video discription... When you go into places like that it is like stepping in to a time machine and going back.

  • Hey rickyperson, My friends and i also explore inside Litchfield House at Fairfield Hills however, we were unsuccessful. We couldn't find the tunnel. Can you tell me where exactly is the entrance is?

  • has any1 seen my I.M.s

  • I pass this place every day on my way home. I've always wondered about it.

  • rickyperson

    what is the music?

    thank you

  • who were u with

  • There is mostly demonic presence in the basement of one of the buildings, thats where im trying to get into, ive conversed with lorraine warren, she believes it is a doorway to hell, why did you guys go during the day?

  • That hallway looks like where they filmed sleepers, thats some whacked up place!

  • @zatarra2fast It is.

  • @zatarra2fast Actually this is WHERE they DID film Sleepers! You can see the field where they played that Big Game and the cage where they were molested in these videos.

  • there are steam and power tunnels as well. ive been on the railroad tracks before at night right by the power plant and hearing the commuter train close by is creepy

  • Id really like to take one LAST walk into the tunnels..!!

  • i went there last night. broke in to 2 buildings. shit was sooo fun. but i didnt see any appiritions=[

  • we just went, and you're not allowed within 15 feet, at night we got stoped by police and we werent even on the property yet

  • fucking racist igorant punk.

  • @sexyggg what the fuck are u talking about??????!!!!!

  • 6:05 isnt "Solitary Confinement". Let me guess the "drug ward"? Thats known as the Timeout/Restraint Room.(I read yur description) I was right? That building- "drug ward" was called "housatonic adolesant hostital) H.A.H. po box 5525, Lets say we've got some talking to do.. I used to LIVE there!

  • what was it like being in there? Was it at all scary and how did you get in?

  • You guys really do have balls, id never do that, even though id love to , o couldnt

This also makes me feel better about the psyc ward i was admited to!

  • it's so much fun to explore abandoned buildings, there's an old hospital next to my college that's awesome

  • I am going three Friday its it scary? or hunted?

  • what is the current status of all the buildings? i wanna visit this place soon

  • i go to ff hills at least once a month. if im looking for an excuse id say its to "jog," but i really just like looking at the creepiness of everything there. ive snuck inside one building (not quite sure the name of it) one time, but chickened out after about 3 or 4 steps. i think im more afraid of getting cought then the actual place, and i wanna try again but im scared of authority lol

  • when i was in high school from 2000-2005 we went almost every weekend.... a lot of that place is under water (bowling alley) place was a lot of fun. be careful. you should really wear masks when you go in there because u can get cancer from all the crap in there.

  • Yes! I have an explanation for the banging. I also went, could hear the banging from the outside. If you look up in the front of the building on the middle floor there is a window without a pane of glass. Instead there is a thick piece of sheet metal, it looks like ducting, covering the space. When the wind blows it hits the window frame. I'm positive that's what it is. You can watch it hit, and hear it simultaneosly. Sorry to spoil the fun.

  • well this was an awesome vid..did you know that they filmed a movie in there..well if you didnt know that. the movie is called sleepers..

  • This is like when I go to the abandoned Harlem Valley psych center.

  • the underground tunnels were used for transporting patients from building to building, instead of taking them outside in the winter or risking their escape/ill co-operation

  • Right. They were also used for laundry, transport of equipment, and transport of dead bodies.

  • How'd you get in there without getting caught ? My friend over in Sandy Hook got nabbed on the way out and had to pay a bunch of fines.

  • my neighbor went to ffh while back said it was bs nurses where strange

  • propper good job mate

  • did you see any bodies or freaky things in the morgue?

  • you guys have some balls for sure

  • Thanks

  • rickyperson- the banging is the same thing i experienced when i went inside the same building i have no idea where it came from or what it is. I know alot about the building bc one of my family members worked there

  • Nice video. We actually went there last night with the plan of getting into the buildings but we could not find a open window/door. After watching this it seems that you didnt have any trouble finding the "litchfield" house entrance. Can you explain its location/ how you got in a little better. thanks we would appreciate, really awesome video btw.

  • That entrance point has been blocked off as well unfortunately.

  • The complex is completely open to the public. You can walk right up to the buildings with not one no trespassing sign. However the tunnels where filled in last year.

  • Not all of the tunnels. The tunnel leading from Litchfield House to the Morgue was not filled in. That is actually where they would wheel the dead bodies so other patients didn't see them. It's still open. There are a few entry points if you look hard enough.

  • @mindspade5544 where are the entrance points?

  • i heard on wikipedia that the underground tunnels were filled. is this true?

  • When we went, the only underground tunnel that was open was the passage between Litchfield House and the Morgue. I live in Chicago now, and the last I heard from my friends back home was that the entire place is fenced off from the public.

  • Thanks sooooo much for these videos, you're contribution is awesome!!

  • You were extremely brave to walk around in there! Fairfield Hills is a very creepy place however, I sense a lot of sadness there. It's also sad to see these building's being torn-down and renovated because the place will always be surrounded by sadness and loss:-(

  • Pshh, I want some evil spirits to follow me, I'm going in there soon, I'm gonna go in the one with the opened windows, and then hopefully I'll have a spirit following me :) But, for real, this is an AMAZING video.

  • What I found most strange is that there are buildings with open windows one day that will be closed the next. Same with doors. It was just eerie.

  • Iv always wanted to go in here, i tryed twice the first time i couldnt find a legit way in and the second time they had a bunch of securtity guards and cops all around prob like 15 in all so i didnt even bother. Any tips to get in, you prob havent been here in a long time im guessing. But other than that nice video!

  • Latest word is that the entire site has been closed off. It is not even a public park anymore! Sorry.

  • 4 or 5 years back I went and spent the night there with 3 friends. We entered and stayed in the drug rehab building. after exploring all around we set up camp on the 4 or 5th floor.( I cant remember.)

later that night it sounded like footsteps and a door opening and closing. it would be on the floor above us then a few seconds below us.. then nothing for a bit then again, it was intense. Im sure it wasn't the people we met earlier that night cause I showed them out(not before scary them to deth

  • have you ever visted the other big state hosptial in Conn, by the indian casinos? that place is mad sick but it feels more like an abandoned city, some of the labs are creepy though. excellent filming!

  • I was on a bus coming home from a cross country meet in Danbury and we passed Fairfield Hills, something just seemed ghostly about it, and it looked like it wasn't at peace.

  • yo, i think the banging in litchfield house is this metal thing covering a window and whenever the wind blows it hits a metal bar and makes that noise. i encountered the same thing recently and i had like a panic attack and thought of this video, but then we checked it out and it was the window.. not to ruin the thought of strange banging noises..

  • I know the metal covering you're talking about. Trust me, it wasn't that. The banging came from inside a specific room, and then from the opposite end of the hallway. On the very first occasion, there was also rattling and continuous banging to the basement. We re-entered the building and it was freezing cold, so we left.

I'm not in it for "ghost hunting" so believe me when I say we've looked into every possibility. The metal covering was not the cause.

  • damnnn, alright well ill take your word for it then.

i dont know if i can explain how scared i got when i heard it tho cause id seen this video and then went into that building and heard the same noises, like ahhh. we got outta there fast, then went back in...

  • We went back in, too. Except it was freezing cold and we did not feel welcome in the slightest. We left rather quickly.

That night we both had a 101.6 degree fever.

One month later a psychic told me I have an evil spirit following me.

  • very cool, thank you for sharing.

  • great video! i have a slight obsession with fairfield hills, although last time i was there (christmas) i couldnt get inside and all my access points had been boarded up. i did speak to a security guard who was super nice and he told me the place is definitely haunted. either way..its beautiful to me. i know certain building s have been under construction for a while, but they aren't restoring/tearing down the whole place, right? my aunt was committed here in the 80's..i remember visiting her

  • i went in there today i went into one and went underground to the greenwich one i didnt see anything scary and i wanted to see more but it was all locked

  • and the orbs were prob just dust but maybe not bucause i got those on my cam sometimes and maybe the banging was something falling because all the vandilisim but prob notbecause when i was playign baseball there i heard some bangs inside the main entrence were the 2 elevators are and were the cops and ambulances would go i put my ear up to the glass and heard a huge banging sound and there was a window out to the basement and i heard someone scream and after was a bang then i heard footsteps

  • There isn't too much vandalism at Fairfield Hills - not enough to mess up any part of the facility that bad that it would just crumble. Not to mention, confinement rooms wouldn't just bang, shake, and then rumble on four separate occasions (all times following us out of the building).

The noises you heard when you put your ears up to the class could have been resonating sounds and vibrations from outside (especially with the construction). Or, people could have been inside exploring.

  • Perhaps the orb is dust. That's really up to the viewer. I'm not quite sure what it is. I didn't go inside to "Ghost Hunt." I went inside (many times) to take in the beauty of the buildings before they're demolished and renovated by the town of Newtown.

  • Nonetheless, FFH is pretty crazy. =)

  • ya you have really good points but it was a weekend and there wasnt any work going on but i saw all the trucks there and ya there isnt enough vandilsim ya because i heard foot steps and a bang and screaming like sombody was in one of the rooms going crazy i dont know what the scream was but the other stuff could of been what you said and i think the noises i heard when i put my ear up were from inside because there was a hallway door open next to the 2 elevators so it probably people inside

  • i was there for a baseball game that place was so scary i really wanna do like a ghost hunt thing in there

  • @baseball1090 me too it was creepy as hell

  • Wow cool stuff ...when u were in there did u see anything paranormal? cause if u did that would have been awesome 5/5

  • that was awesome

  • i used to play lacrosse for newtown on the front lawn before it was all fenced up now theres fence all the way around that thing ive always wanted to go inside

  • Seriously intense and creepy...

    amazing stuff, Ricky.

    Keep them coming.

  • How do I get in there? seriously.

  • OK, third try..........Ricky, this is too cool my friend! I wish I could have gone there with you, it just feels so heavily intense, and the autopsy table and morgue, holy shit! Killer video bud, hope you're doing well. Drop a line sometime......C5

  • Why won't my comment post?????

  • Is this place accessible to the public? I don't know if I would have enough guts to go through it. It looks haunted just by watching the video.

  • not the inside

  • WOW! ricky, this was phenomenal footage. thanks so much for sharing it. you did a truly amazing job. wow. keep it up! take care.

    *tori*

  • THAT IS SO COOL!

  • Condos, anyone! :D Particularly loved the "laboratory" - great setting for a film! Nice work, Ricky! :) Jack

  • Horrible things went down in there back in the 1950s and 60s. Most of them were covered up or pushed under the rug.

We did not feel welcome in there...at all. It was a very unexplainable feeling.

  • What went on inside the hospital back then?

It looks like there was some sort of fire or something.

  • WOW! Dude, you have fucking balls. Balls man. Is Litchfield house still accessible? I'd like to head up this weekend, but if it's blocked, I may just pass on it..

  • The fact that we heard loud banging TWICE. That's some scary shit.

  • lol I just saw mirrors last night and this reminds me of it

  • yikes,,,,that is one spooky place
