I agree this song does sound good as a solo, but I have been in a 200 voice choir that sang this song and when we go to the end w/ the alleluias we went acapella and finished the song this way and it was amazing.

Those are extremely high notes. How many people or sopranos can do anything close to that? She's not singing in head voice/falsetto like most people might think. If you don't believe then you don't, it's true but might not seem like it

Sandi's vocals were probably fatigued from the normal usage on tour, so yes it was a little scratchy. Some days are good vocal days, some are not so good. But we give our best anyhow. Especially when people pay to see you come through. There is another video on here, which is better in my opinion. Just look for the other video with this same title.

It sounds so much better when a whole choir sings it. She sang it well, though. I think it has even more POWER when there is a whole choir doing it. The Allelujahs were beautiful....it got AMAZING towards the end.
