Nice to see my relief sculpture on board QM2 still looking bright as the day I installed it. I spent a year making this sheet bronze sculpture, which weighed several tons.
Went onto to make the relief sculpture of the QV, which had to be in a much lighter weight material on a marquetry background.
Enjoyed the making of both ship sculptures, but as yet have not had the pleasure(?) of sailing on either ship.
wow! no ones beats this ship lobby..evgen though royal caribbean ships soars up to ten decks while qm2 has only four: Just check out the regal magnificence in the lobby..its adorned with elaborate decors..... ROYALTY ABODE...

I actually prefer the grand lobby on QV. QM2's definitely larger and is the truer liner, but I think it could have used a central staircase.

I agree all great liners of the past had them and i think it was a feature they really should have added when they made the ship
