This is one of McCartney's greatest achievements. It's too bad Linda isn't around to hear this wonderful song. She would have been proud. After all, it was Linda McCartney who transformed Paul into a true musician. As a Beatle Paul was just mediocre. Today, he is a polished gem. This song, with its gypsy elements, compares to any of the Hungarian Dances by Brahms. Nothing Lennon ever wrote comes even close to this folkish little jewel. Bravo Sir Paul !
