Being a freshman at Baylor this is actually hilarious to me. I was outside where the action was the ENTIRE TIME, from before it happened to the very end. The fire was a small fire in a pit, there was a rope in a tree that wasn't even at all a noose that no one saw until AFTER it was on the news, & there was no FIGHT... but there were HUGE groups of AfricanAmerican students parading the streets yelling "WE WON!", blaring rap music, swerving their cars, & provoking non-Obama students.
So typical of CNN!! The media will always attack anything that is affiliated with christian values. I'm a Junior a Baylor and I know for a fact this was blown way of proportion. There was no racism involved, just your typical Greek fraternities clashing. The only reason it made news is because the student president of Baylor's ACLU shot her mouth of for attention and personal gain. Can the liberal media find anything else better to report on? Seriously, get a life!! Sic Em Bears!! :)
I'm a Baylor student, and I happen to know that those signs being burned were really cardboard boxes, and the "noose" was a rope swing. Not like CNN (or any media, for that matter) would update you on the full story that emerged a week later. Almost no racism involved. The shouting match was between just a few students.
I looked up some history My BAYOR was the first school to have a black football player.
The kids to today should follow the old leaders an give people a change. Don't follow what others do. BAYLOR is for leaders. Finding new grounds making our own way.
I'm in the Baylor Hall of Fame. I'm the first Champion they ever had. Willie caldwell, I don't like this they can pull me from the hall of shame. Or talk to me.
what is awesome, is that none of that was proven true. the "noose" was a rope swing, the signs were in fact computer boxes, and the "fight" was people being dumbasses and yelling at one another.
Yeah. I was there for all of this. CNN is a joke. None of that happened.
