I saw this performance and loved it, especially Nimrod. It has made me cry then and now. I believe Leonarrd Bernstein loved Elgar as I do and the English do. Thank you for bringing back this memory.

Wow, I loved this performance many years ago on a dg cd. Maybe this will come out

on a dvd. Too slow? Hardly, when played with this passion and intensity.

@michaels7 right. Bernstein only errors when he takes that vision too extremly--which is uncommon.
