The Scarrans tortured him to try to make him strong enough to endure their environment, but all they accomplished was to make him hate them. - He's not really "evil", he just wants to destroy the race that created him. Pain and death are all he knows. - I seriously cool character. :D

His mother, (a Sebacean, a race like humans) was captured and raped by a malicious reptilian race (Scarrans). They wanted a hybrid to help them rule the universe. Because of his incredibly unlikely mixed parentage, Scorpius was born barely alive. His mother died giving birth. Scarrans are cold blooded and need heat, whereas Sebaceans die in high tempertures; so he would die without the cooling rods in his brain.

Whenever I see something that compliments Scorpy well I comment. He is truly one of the most interesting characters in television history and his approach to society, politics, and military is incredibly topical in today's world. God knows I'd vote for him if he were running for president.

It's from Farscape. If you haven't seem this show, watch it! It has very phenomenal work from Jim Henson's Creature Shop!

I think it'd be better if you just got it on DVD. Run a search for "Farscape" on any shopping website you use. Get the StarBurst Editions, as you'll get more eps in one package. It is highly recommended that you start from the beginning of the series. You'll get more acquainted with the universe that way. Plus, you won't be as confused... lol
