If you read my comment, you will see that I DIDN'T say HIS hamster died in its food bowl, MINE did. But according to my vet-who specializes in the care of rodents-its very common that if you find yours dead in its sleeping area it made sure its tummy was FULL before.

My hamster died about an hour ago, and she died right in my hands. I knew she was going to die soon so I kept a close watch on her, and when it was her time I picked her up and 2 min later she passed away. I'm still crying, because I can't get her out of my head. :(

i have 3 campbells hamsters in a 5 gal aquarium... a few hours ago i found that one of them dead ... his fellow hamster is eating the dead hamster and the last 1 is badly injured and dying right now... dont know what happened.. i thought they killed each other because i miss their lunch .. its my fault for skipping their meal...

omg i'm seriously cryyyinggg. i find it hard to deal with my hamsters' deaths. that little guy in the food box looks so small and cute! the eyes are so cute, yet it's not alive anymore........... i wish they lived as long as humans. :(

i had the same hamster. mine was in its ball thing and got behind the dryer, i found it a few days later. i cried so hard. i got a new one today, but i'll never forget my first hamster that lived with me for one year and 3 months. RIP tas. and RIP to your loss too. i'm very sorry.

Hey my hamsters name is hamster and i thinks she's gonna be gone soon...:( I cried my eyes out at the thought of it being gone! i think she has diabetes and my mom doesn't want to take it to a vet! I hate to see it suffer...just the thought make me cry:'( My mom said if I wanted it to be buried if something were to happen .. I just nodded no i have to do it my self!

Well it's a hard thing to burry your hamster when its dead. We all need to take that step. Im sorry if I answering wrong im 15 years old and Im Belgian... We all hate it when someone or somethings die. Actually I hated my hamster or even myself because I didn't "trained" my hamster. I couldn't take it out of cage and if I had it with me its always wanna ran away. I hated the hamster but when it died i cried alot. And burried it. So just burry yours and froget it. Succes
