LEDs barely use any power, the impact on battery life is pretty minimal. Assuming each LED uses 1 watt, it would be an extra 14 watts. They're probably a half watt or less though, so 7W or less. The thing that would use a ton of power is if there's some sort of microcontroller responsible for making them strobe.

lol, your battery probably lasts for like 30 minutes, you should buy the extended life LED battery so your battery can last mad long and the battery lights uo blue.

Exactly, Or Nothing could Be Sodded, A Simple Small battery (CS 25) Can be Put onto a Copper Wire Charge (+ or -) Can be sodded onto the battery There for you can stick it into the Clear Plastic zone of the UMD Door. Then Take another wire and attach a peice of metal so when the door opens the Light Turns on and the Clear UMD Door Turns too whatever color you want...I basicly Turned this post into a HOW TO. Lol

Yes they do, it just takes a very long time. Some LED's have a life of 10,000,000 hours and others have a life of 100,000 hours, you just have to check on that.
