I have white, asian, hispanic friends who wash their hair every two days or whatever and it takes them 5/10 minutes i'm thinking. Hell no.

A black woman hair does not take 10 minz to wash. first you wash it like three times then you condition it- leave in the conditioner then wash that out then blow dry as you blow dry you have to cream your hair after you cream your scalp then comb and even some time strengthen. It can take up to two hours to wash your hair. NO JOKE

Rain isn't just annoying for black women with relaxer in their hair my hair is natural and I know that when the rain comes and I get caught in it, then my hair is gonna need to get a wash asap lol and washing your Afro isn't the chore that part is easy its what comes next that takes so bloody long; the blow drying and creaming and oiling the scalp and (if you do this) straightening it and all sorts if you actually want to bother styling your hair lol but I wouldn't have it any other way :)

People with straight hair wash their hair everyday because its oily, their overactive oil glands in their scalps is what makes their hair straight to begin with. If you were a black female and you washed you hair every day, due to the fact that black people have naturally dry hair, you would have a ton of split ends and your hair WOULD fall out. Water does have a drying affect, that's why when some people get out of the shower they have to put on lotion, because water does dry skin out.

Depending on the texture of your hair, you may not need to wash and excessive washing would damage it. Most everyone who has naturally curly hair does not have a scalp that produces too much oil. 2 weeks to a curly haired person is your one day so instead of being ignorant... learn the facts -_-.
