When the Preston bypass was first opened back in the 50's there was no speed limit. However, in the 50's cars would have probably struggled to go much faster.

Oh, and btw, a bloody MASSIVE stone got chucked up from a lorry and smacked into my windscreen once when i was driving down there! It happened at the exact spot the video was at at 2:04. Had to have the whole windscreen replaced and the smashed area was bigger than a fist!

That idiot in the purple fiesta needs a lesson in how to drive. You don't just sit in the 3rd lane. You keep left unless overtaking. 1st or even 2nd lane would be fine. 3rd of 4th when theres no other traffic is just ridiculous. It's people like that that are the problem on the road not speeders etc. Those who regularly speed within a reasonable degree are actually proven to be the safest drivers of all!

It's not 1:20 u dippy! more like 1:3 or 1:4 tops. Watch mi video london to yorkshire in 3 minutes at 1:50! then u'll see real speed! ;)
