This is just a path to worship real black metal; if you dare to follow it then you will find bands such as Deathspell Omega and many others... but this is the task of every individual, I do not made this video to make things easier for the people who start in black metal but trying to teach modern black metalers in a better way ;)

@laspetardas The scandinavian people is known for they "sad" temper. When it was dark (wich is it for long periods in a year), the people begun instinctively to reflect of a "brighter" existance. Its very natural and its impossible to deny it. From this point of view, I claim that good or "good" BM comes from the northern parts of the world mostly because of this. The scene nowadays is so huge that every band can be in to play along so to say.

I think the weather is not the explanation to judge if someone will make good BM or not...

Return of the Vampire Lord is better, if you ask me, but Autofade... has grown on me quite a bit. Also Perun's Celestial Silver is quite awesome. Hell, its definitely one of the best BM albums ever released, all the songs are amazingly orchestrated and well-done. Such a primeval/heathen fell while maintaining musical genius.

I agree with Laspetardas, the real so called "underground" bands, are probably 17 years old, drum machine, records in bedroom, and has a MySpace account to show all his new freinds.

In all honesty, I only knew Nokturnal Mortum, Strid and Watain, the rest are very underground, not as underground as these drum machine one man bands, but still very obscure. Even Strid and Nokturnal Mortum are probably unknown by 99.9% of humanity.
