@incubical I only used it for an abrasive to make gardening soap. Otherwise, no, you don't use that in soap. Just water lye and oil are essential.

Those little marble rocks are sold in 40# bags here in Mississippi for around $4 to $8 (depending on retail source).  People put them in their flower beds, around their mailboxes to stop weed growth (placed on top of a piece of thick piece of plastic first), and we use them in the driveway to stop erosion.

Wow! It's incredible what is in our own backyards that others have to pay for, no matter where you live! The trick is to find uses for what you have nearby!

They sound pretty cheap! But that's a lot of weight!
