  • where did you buy the QSI Quantum Revolution-U , and speaker

  • How do you add ditchlights?!

  • Thank you so much for the video of the install. I have a question for you. I do not have an Athearn RTR but an Athearns blue box and would like to do the conversation as well, any suggestions?

  • @nvocc5 Look at Monster Railroads channel.

  • How do you install additional marker and strobe lights on the p42.

Check out "Ho Scale Custom Athearn p42s"

I would like to do this installation. Would a newbie be able to do such a task.

Secondly, can you do a Youtube instructional? Thanks!

  • he said cock

  • Dude I have been looking for an engine!

  • how much was it

  • do they have a website or phone number, because i live in new york.

  • @elr2141979 They advertise im Model Railroader magazine.

  • where did you get that locomotive i have #139 and #44 i want #10 soo bad

  • @elr2141979 About 18 month's ago. I guess they produce a run of a perticular road number and once they sell out they will make a different number.

  • @elr2141979 I know a place that still has #10. They had it recently, let me know if you want the store where 10's at.

  • @AmtrakTitan455 sure give me the info does that store have a #55 too?

  • @elr2141979 Here's the store that has 10: Roundhouse Trains, it's located in Los Angeles.

  • @elr2141979 whered u get the engine?? im looking for 1 p42 in phase v

  • @solidshots23 That's what I'm trying to figure out!

  • Thanks a bunch for posting and sharing this. I have successfully completed this installation in 7 (soon-to-be 8) P42s. This is a great resource!

  • @ flymanjg I have the same loco #55. I noticed a weird humming noise (like a belt slipping noise when the AC belt is loose on a car) when it is running above 35+ on the speed scale on a DCC system. I have not run it much and don't know if the gears are not lubed or what.

  • Does it matter who make the Debonder (the brand)?

  • NO.

  • @flymanjg how muh does the amtrak usaully cost

  • Flyman, i just installed my first decoder with sound into the Athearn amd-103 P42. The decoder i used was a Tsunami TSU-1000 EMD 710 alittle different than you used in your video (24a), without your video and information it would of been a disaster it was so helpful. Next is the ditch lights and back up lights when the material comes in. Thanks again

  • I'm glad the video helped you out.

  • is this a good runner?

  • hey i have watched the whole series and have found this info PERFECT!!!!. but my AMD-103 is not dcc ready and i was wondering what type of decoder i should get for it. great series again! Happy Model Railroading!

  • Go with the QSI revolution-U. you are going to have to do some wire cutting and soldering. Should not be to hard, just take your time and go slow. If you need help send me a message.

  • How much did you spend total while adding all the extras details

  • $99 for the QSI Revolution-U and speaker, $8 for the enclosure, and whatever were the Tower LED and Red Backup lights. See Tony's train exchange.

  • Hi flymanjg im working on a small 5x9 layout and iv got about 6 dcc locomotives. iv got two broadway limited, three bachmann dcc on board, and one life like heritage. all original decoders out of the factory. can that mrc cotroller controll them all?

  • Yes.

  • @flymanjg thank you and you have one of the best track plans iv scene

  • great howto video!!!

  • Sir... you are a master crafter.

  • Hey! that isn't the same loco!

  • Thanks so much for these videos!

  • I use that same soundtraxx megabase speaker with my digitrax. They sound great!

  • Nice! I need one of these locomotives for my layout!
