lol that happend to me once and then i deleted the ghost with a cheat and then my cow plant was froze in its place until i fed it again!

The sim was eaten by the cowplant. If you get eaten by it you'll turn lught green (like my sim there) and if you die of illness you'll be darker green.

no it died by cow plant sims will interact with the thing they died of like a sim who died of hunger will open the frigde and look hoplesly into it

I can't really remember how I got it, but I think you need a cheat, something like unlock allcareerrewards, but I'm not sure.
