  • On this same website with ALL DATA CLEARED option on the LG Voyager on Verizon Wireless's network with only 4 bars of basic 1X-RTT signal it came out to 3.35 megabits per second;408.8 kilobytes per second and 5 seconds.When I go to New Jersey I have 4 bars of EV-DO and 4 bars of basic 1X-RTT I will have to test that out and see.

  • its called tabs, i can have 5 open at a time with no lag on my tmobile mda.(using opera mobile) plus i have flash support..

    oh, and gps via bluetooth...

    the iphone is too handicapped.

  • yea, I had the MDA from tmobile, their service or rather lack of coverage, just makes me SCREAM! I could not stand tmobile, it did not work ANYWHERE. Then again, cingular or rather at&t needs to work on their service too. I get dropped calls all the time and I AM IN THE NYC area! WTF?! Theres 8million+ people, DUE SOMETHING at&t.

    Ugh, the MDA blows (my 2 cents), I am more then happy with my iphone and enjoy it. Thanks for the comment though, I appreciate it.

  • 150 bit per second . . . cute. My 3G capable 8525 loads that speed test at 1.2 megabit per second. iPhone = 1/10 as fast.

  • Try comparing apples to apples. Your comparison is like racing a car w/ turbo against one that doesn't have turbo. Run the same speed test using EDGE and see what you get. The only reason your phone is faster is because it supports 3G.

  • You can't use Wi-Fi all of the time. Wi-Fi isn't as widespread as the carriers cellular network. You'll have EDGE/GPRS available far more than you have a Wi-Fi signal.
