Alright there! Have you heard the talk about - fast abs magic (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my BF got great 6 pack abs and lost a lot of belly fat with it.
Holla! Have you heard about - fast abs magic (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? Ive heard some decent things about it and my sister got really defined Six pack abs and lost lots of belly fat with it.
you guys are doing a great job of depleting the swordfish population, also looks like the captain is gonna rob a bank when he docks the boat, things are tough.
SirFrancisBurton, Swordfish are not endangered here. We have caught and released 100's of nice swords and harvested this one to feed our families and friends. Thanks
hey getlit,I was wondering cause i couldn't get a good enough look but do you guys use the standard bent butt rods(9")butt or do you run (14") butts? Also i am guessing the rod holder is swivel. Lees makes a longer version 0 degree of bent butt in 141/2".It is the RH577XL.What are your thoughts. Also is it better to run a slight angle or is 0 degree the way to go for a gunnel fights/electric. Thanks.
Hey guys great work! Im from Honduras and I have been studying how to catch swordfish here in Central America. I am interested in knowing how do I make the rigg for Electric Reel to catch a swordfish? Can anyone make a video or explain me about the rigg for daytime swordfishing pleaseee!:D
Nice video man. I fish here on charter boats in Oahu, and i was thinking about venturing over to Florida to try my hand at the fishing you guys do. Any suggestions on how to break into the local scene over there?
due nice swordfish now you ggot urself a crew but all i didnyt understand was that i thaought u were suspussed to real about a 1000ft or so feet of line becasue the swordfish is coming to the surfice and then the fight begins oh yea were you guys using swordfish candi tuna was the reel all eletric and did everything for u guys or did you skip the fight on the vid well great fish guys good eatin sea ya
thanks for comments! this was dinner for 100 people. It was the first sword we have kept out of about 60 or 70 swords we have caught the past few seasons. as you know they contain a lot of mercury and should be not be consumed on a regular basis . catch em up Pete
Spot on Pete....Gotta keep the Billfish intake to a moderate minimum due to mercury! I've been on a boat which landed a Marlin that fed everyone on the Island we stayed at in Vanuatu so I'm glad your Sword didn't go to waste.
sorry about the lingo - I get pretty pumped when talking or writing about it. Yes pound for pound the swords are tougher - people may disagree, but that's what I think. Tuna are also a crowd favorite - they fight great and taste great. If fought with the correct technique, they can be more manageable than the other 2 pound for pound. All 3 species are at the top of my list for toughness. Sword (1) Marlin (2) and Tuna (3).
I have caught a 600lb blue marlin that stayed up on the surface and released her within an hour. I have fought 150lb swordfish that have dogged me for over an hour. The marlin tend to stay up on the surface a lot more than the swordfish. I feel the marlin bite is second to none and then combined with the spectacular jumps and greyhounding - they are by far the most exciting. The swords only jump a few times if any, but you will respect their power after tangling with even a 70lber.
yes, it has been pretty good but now that the sails are here we have put swords on the back burner. We caught and released 16 sails today. the swords we are catching have been on the bottom in 1500-2000 feet. catch em up.
I know some guys are going to hate, because of the electric gear. But these guys drop baits deep into trenches to catch these fish during the daylight, and electric is really the most efficient way. as for handling and landing the fish I say these guys are the real deal.
NIce Fish..Q is the man...I tried it this past weeknd for the first time and went 0/2...we had a couple big fish on for about 15 mins...pulled the hook both times. Fighting a fish on an electric takes some getting used too
Yeah Q is the man - what a dedicated, great fisherman. It is tricky with the electrics. So I tried conventional and got hung up 2 times in one day. We thought one of them might have been a fish, but it was brutal. 40lbs of drag, with the Black Majic harness for 30 minutes. I'll try it again soon, and good luck to you, you will get him. We caught another 200lber one 3 days ago, but it took 4 drops. Let me know when you catch one. take care -Pete
not latley. im just now learning the ropes. i've been out a few times with kelly, and have gone to catch bait a bunch of times. But im still learning, i was strictly washing and waxing but i recently have been going out with different captains trying to learn a little from everyone. i was on the liberty today with mark and Q was there and i saw him do few riggs, and how to set up the livewells and general things around the boat getting ready for an upcoming trip.
most people fish for them at night, and it's difficult to see the jumps, but you can hear the splash off in the distance. During the day, we have caught 2 and both have jumped. That's probably one of the coolest things about the daytime swording. we are hooking them in 1,500 feet on the bottom. They lay there during the day and cruise at night.

I think that a hard cold infusion of peyote would advance the experience by at least 98 percent
