I like your version better. I never heard this song until now, and I heard your acoustic version first.
After hearing Mike Doughty sing it, you sing it with more emotion, and your voice fits the song better.

I use Pro Tools, with a digi 002 rack. Yes it's phantom powered. Blue bluebird condenser mic.

I would recomend it!! I used this microphone on my latest record, for all the lead vox and for guitars. It has a very balanced and honest sound. For the money it's a great microphone.
