Thinking of our School Carol Service in the Church, Lance, and remembering a boy in my Class, Alistair, who would open the Service by singing Verse 1 as Solo. I am going back to 1958. Sadly, a fortnight ago, I read of his sudden passing in Perthshire. He was 4 days older than me. I have treasured, happy memories of those bygone days in Macduff, my hometown. Often, while walking over the hill, I see the Station, the dear old Kirk and our old School. Many thanks, Lance. Charlie.
I enjoy your playing so much. I am fascinated by the sound of this Viscount church organ. It is the type of organ sound I really like for a church organ in lieu of a pipe organ.
I am really blessed by your wonderful talent and stand for Christ. I remember my days of playing so many of these glorious hymns in church as well as at home in extensive practice.
Christmas music and found this song. I just HAD to play it. I will certainly add this arrangment to my church organ music for this coming season, thanks to you introducing this song via you-tube. Thank you very much. God bless you and keep doing what you're doing. You'll be rewarded. Oh...I love Polish
Christmas too, especially Lulajze Jezuniu. God Bless!.
love this song. However I don't use the headphone's unless someone is home! When no one is around I love to play this music so its heard round the house
I'm a life long (70 yrs) Episcopalian/Anglican, as we are now part of the ACNA, and will be soon, as snowbirds, heading to Largo, FL. where our southern church, St. Dunstans, has voted to align with the Diocese of Quincy (ACNA), by a 90+% vote, which pleases us very much, remaining faithful to Jesus in every respect. I love listening to all your hymns and try to listen each day.
That is great news and thank you for visiting the video's, I am in Sunrise FL now thinking of becoming a snowbird next year since this Summer was so hot.
Thank you! I was a Polish National Catholic and, as you know, we Poles have the most beautiful Christmas Carols ;-) (as told to me by a Scottish priest friend), but 'Once in Royal David's City' is my all-time favorite! I was a young man at St Thomas New York, a newly received Episcopalian, and my first Christmas there I heard this.
One of my favorite Christmas Carols and we always sing it on Christmas Eve also. You played it so beautifully. I use my headphones now and you are so right, what a difference, i thought I was in a Cathedral. Thank you my friend, God bless you.
