Eh, it's not that bad - the government says "all clear - nothing wrong".

I used to watch this guy on KFTY 50 in Santa Rosa CA. back in the 90s.

His feature tapes always had 10 seconds of dead air at the beginning and the end.

Hysterical.

KFTY was a consummate UHF ghetto station.

They had a control board no one could operate.

They were constantly running tape fast forward, reverse, freeze framing during the news and movies.

They once played the same 15 minute segment of Star Trek for 2 hours straight!

How else could a TV station go broke during a boom economy?
