@varney2010 that's Raggetty !!! when he appeared in the show the screen filled with his head and really spaced out sounds... He's like magic or something.....anyways anyone around 40 remembers this, cos it was pretty far out for a kid's brain to digest even for the early 70's..... the firefly things are cool too....these are a couple of reasons i have never grown up...

Raggerty seemed to appear in lots of episodes to me. I was scarred stiff when he came on screen. Gave me nightmares that thing! Love the song though. Jackie Lee did a great job.

My friends had a band (alternative/punk) called "Jimmy Saville's Wheelchair" and they did an excellent cover of this tune in the eighties.

Their rendition of it saved me from a bad trip at a gig in a cave on the Isle of Arran. What a night!
