  • AHHHH I FUCKING LOVE THIS BAND.

  • 5:25 - slaughter everyone!!!

    ARRA! - ARRA! - ARRA! - DAGON! - DAGON! - DAGON!

  • @CamiloApollo when they did this live, my god, everyone pretty much exploded in an orgy of blood and metal.

  • Not hating on deathcore in the lisghtest, i love the stuff, but...

    Dear Deathcore,

This is how daddy does a breakdown.

    Love & horns,

    Death Metal.

  • @SirjonoTheHarbringer slightest* :P

  • Heaviest fucking band in the world

  • I can't get enough from this fuckinge epic Song!

  • to anyone who knows how to utulize alternate speaker settings, put it go to speakers, sellect mixer, sellect speakers, go to advanced, sellect 24 bit, 96000 Hz, then enhancments check off environment and headphone virtualization, Generic for setting. use the highest quality headphones available.

  • i tried to do my homework listening to this...but then i just ended up sacrificing my dog..

  • @wescoastskate I tried to masturbate listening to this... but then i just ended up sacrificing my dick..

  • 5 people are detested by the Gods

  • @luisbrujo77 6 people were eaten by Unas and he became an emo, and then a Hittite Exorcist took a dump on him.

  • 1:32 i keep heraing a phone ringing

  • WHY IS THAT ENDING SO FUCKING AMAZING?!?!?!?!?

  • good band i rlly like the guitars but the vocals not so much

  • ..... well okay chuckschuldiner. and it is very sad that chuck died... he was a great musician. still you shouldn't have named yourself after him.

  • Haha. You know nothing about me. I made this account over 7 months ago. At the time my favorite band was "Death", and Chuck Schuldiner deserves much more recognition for his work with "Death". He was such a good person. Humble, philanthropic, and delightful. He's is definitely one of my idols and will forever by. Currently at this moment my most favorite band is Nile. That in no way means I don't have a love for Death. I don't notice trivial differences in growling, I apologize.

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0 no problem mate. and i never said i did. and i know he needs more recognition, and deserves it. anyways, nile is a great band, and so was death. anyways in music i look more for vocals mainly rather than the music, some exceptions. but i listen very closely to the vocals and such.

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0 what a way to ride someonces cock. lol

  • one of my favourite nile songs

  • Nile is probably one of the greatest bands I have ever heard! Stay brutal!

  • this isnt a breakdown its just one big fat heavy mother fucker of a song. dont mistake it for such metalcore gayness

  • haha, alot of this song sounds like kiwi metal (that isn't a genre, i'm referring to the metal that kiw's love (newzealanders).

  • @crestfromwhichevil Technical Death Metal is mainstream in New Zealand?

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0 not death metal.. but technical stuff is. kiwi's would love stuff like this, but with singing rather than vocals i believe.

  • this is so heavy that the passage of time is warped at the end, hence the breakdown. that's general relativity for you

  • @M1SOG1 hahah, th whole song pretty much is a breakdown. not just the end =P.

  • @crestfromwhichevil

No it's not a breakdown. A breakdown is a part of a song. Usually in the middle, when the song, y'know, "breaks down"?

  • @DemonicCathode i know it's not a breakdown. it's like a slamm, but i called it a breakdown, because it might aswell be, it's damn heavy.

  • And this...is why i fuckin love egyptian metal

  • @xxmetalkicksassxx yeah, this is awesome. love nile.. too bad the vocals in this song didn't really compare to their standard, they were collapsing abit in the growls =(. still good stuff

  • @crestfromwhichevil Dallas' growls aren't collapsing they're excellent. You have to really understand what true growls sound like.

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0 ... mate, for starters. i understand growls quite well. i enthuse over growls and gutturals.. now, the growls in this song started to collapse a bit, especially when he changed them to a scream, they started to lose alot of power. now, still great growls (not excellent or amazing..) but these growls aren't really on the same level as their normal ones, they were a bit weak, and it sounded like he had strained his throat halfway through because all distortion and power.

  • @crestfromwhichevil I wasn't even aware that I replied to you twice. I thought the comment on Dallas was someone else.

The "fading" your talking about is present in all Nile albums. I don't see how that can be negative.

When bands release new albums. They aren't required to be "better" or "improve". It's obiviously up to the band members what they want to create. Most bands don't care for their fans. They care for the success of their album. I'm not being cynical, I'm being realistic.

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0 i think you miss understood what i meant. i didn't mean at the end of the song. i meant through it. after a while his voice was kind of screwed.. like he had done one incorrect vocal to strain his vocal chords, which slowly spirraled down hill as they got worse. not from all their singers, it was just one that kind of let it down. still one of my favorite songs by them. and i never said they are supposed to improve, i know how the music industry works.. i was simply

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0 stating that his vocals were a bit off compared to some of the others in his other songs..

  • @crestfromwhichevil I'm going to be honest. I have no clue what you're talking about. Lets just agree to disagree.

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0 started, to fade out of his vocals..

  • BEST. BREAKDOWN. EVER!!!

  • george kollias rules \m/ he makes us proud for being greek

  • I had a house once, then this played.

  • Im so honored to say I own this album!

  • well last night i fell asleep with this playing in my head phones and when i woke up my friends said i was head banging in my sleep

  • Will somebody please tell me what the fuck "Arra" means?

  • @LethalWiener

I believe that's short for Arrangement.

  • I love 1:06. Around there, at the end of George's fill, the tempo slows a bit and it turns the song a whole Hell of a lot more dark and heavy sounding. Happens a couple of times. lml lml

  • @bogus5607 thats a bit deathcoreish to slow it down though.. especially for a technical deathmetal band

  • @7dayspking You do know suffocation, death, morbid angel etc all have parts in their songs where they "slow it down"

  • @FirePower3006 i know they slow it down but they do it more in a slam these guys were yet inches from it being a breakdown near the end of the song which would of actualy made it a deathcore song if it were a breakdown thats all i am saying

  • @7dayspking There is breakdowns in death metal too dude just these bands don't use them because they cant really write a song like deathcore bands.

  • @FirePower3006 theres not breakdowns in normal death metal theres breakdowns in "slamming brutal deathmetal" and "industrial deathmetal" but normal deathmetal, technical deathmetal, melodic deathmetal, brutal deathmetal and technical brutal deathmetal don't have actual breakdowns they have similar things called slams (0:43 of this song) in breakdowns they use a bass guitar and it makes it sounds more like they are hitting somthing slams are more like chug, chug, with the electric guitar

  • @7dayspking There are breakdowns in technical death metal. But yeah either than that you summed it up

  • @WillyBumm hmmm there more slams than breakdowns in techdeath but i guess some of them can sorta be classified as breakdowns (beneath the massacre.... and burning the masses)

  • @7dayspking I guess. Other great tech death bands with breakdowns are Veil of Maya and Born of Osiris, but they're more technical deathcore than technical death metal.

  • @WillyBumm hmm i personally i really don't like veil of maya i look more for deep growls or piercing gutturals than high screams with technical guitar like "rings of saturn" is an example or "Aversions crown" i even like some songs from "in the midst of lions" rather than veil of maya.... hmmm born of osiris can be ok too great technical work just not into the vocals but thats just the way i like music i guess

  • @7dayspking lol okay :D I love rings of saturn but i'm pretty diverse with technical metal. i love veil of maya; they're my favorite band. i also love nile, rings of saturn, burning the masses, and almost any band with gutteral grunting or just growling

  • @WillyBumm veil of maya don't do gutturals or deep growls do they? if so can you tell me some songs? and check my favorites i have shit loads of bands with growls and gutturals not alot of grunts mainly gutturals and growls but check them out and not all are technical

  • @7dayspking Nah they don't do that... sorry! but okay awesome :D i'll check out your favorites! I actually have a playlist called "fucking metal \m/" and it has almost every kind of metal on there and my favorite song from each of 68 bands c: i continue to add more stuff to it :D

  • @WillyBumm nice man i'll check it out thanks

  • @7dayspking no problem c:

  • @WillyBumm check my blogsite out ultimatecore(dot)blogspot(dot)com/ my user on it is "technicalbrutaldeathcore" i upload on there we just started the site last night late last night enjoy a little bit of death metal on there some core to

  • @WillyBumm enjoy

  • fuck off chuck norris >:(

i wanna listen to nile ffs \m/

  • SO HEAVY I GAINED 20 POUNDS!!! ZOMG

  • @mixinmasta STILL NOT AS HEAVY AS KARL SANDERS THOUGH AMIRITE

  • Heaviest song of all time? Possibly.

  • That is a real "breakdown."

  • ARRRRRRRRRRAA! ARRRRRRRRRRRAAA! ARRRRRRRRRRA! DAGON! DAGON! DAGON!

  • @ScootRush ARRA ARRA PAZUZU

  • fuck now I see why jfac wears Nile shirts and stuff haha

  • @Xaevryn

Watch the Den Haag performance of this song, the WHOLE AUDIENCE is chanting with Dallas \m/_>O<_\m/

  • @danknugs07 dude, dont worry about satan, id worry about dagon. i mean you dont cross that beach or threshold

  • This is the only song that I raise 4 fingers instead of 2.

  • 237 mummys invocated by nile's arra of dagon against 2 faggots from heaven's forest

  • herpderp

  • we need more Mesopotamian- influenced bands

  • Heavy as fuck, gotta love Nile

  • @ShoopDaDjentDaWhoop your so stupid you dont know the difference of death core from deathmetal..

  • @antimatter07 how can you consider yourself to be "metal" and call someone stupid for not know the bullshit classifications of metal? you are a fucking poser and rookie. Deathcore, metalcore, melodeath, thrash, groove, I dont give a fuck, its fucking METAL to me!

  • @louevil555 suck a cock

  • what does Arra and Dagon mean?

  • One of my favorite tracks by Nile just yet. The ending is so catchy. I find myself catatonically droning along: Arra, Arra, Arra...Dagon, Dagon, Dagon. It's so addicting...argggggh!

  • Arra Arra Arra... Dagon Dagon Dagon

  • Gonna see them live ..

  • Who the fuck is this drummer?!

  • @kat123791 he's george kolias, i think, and his pedal skills are second only to jesus

  • @JoeyThe14th hell yeah, thans for tellin me the name.

  • @JoeyThe14th Jesus has no chanse on George Kollias! :D

  • @kat123791 George Kollias is the Drummer. Probably one of the most creative death metal drummers you'll ever hear. He is very orginial. If you play drums he really makes you think of interesting way to play things. Look him up on You Tube he has his own channel and there is a lot of videos people posted of him. Some are very interesting and inspiring.

  • @77mikeyv Thank you, the posts are very, very good. Also check out Matt Greiner if you havnt heard of him, he is a very good drummer from the band August Burns Red.

  • @kat123791 thanks i will check him out.

  • @kat123791 $20

  • oh my Ra. this is incredble. im buying this album

  • I kind of want an HD remake of Earthbound just so this song can be played during the final boss fight with Giygas.

  • A sample of this song should be included in any dictionary containing the word "Headbanging"

  • 6:35 the perfect ritualic metal part in history

  • 1 person from the front at a small venue, 20 minutes into it my chest and stomach were aching from the overwhelming, bassy salvo that is Kollias.

  • Nile writes a lot about hp lovecraft. the entire itallyphalic album is about cthulu and azathoth (as he creates, so he destroys)

  • In my opinion best Nile song!

If i had to kill somone this would be the song id kill him too!

  • Is it just me or is this song really powerful sounding?

  • @deathbymetal2011 >>>SARCASM>>> noooooooooo <<<SARCASM<<<

  • H.P. Lovecraft+NILE=BRUTAL

  • IA CTHULHU

    IA PAZUZU

    IA SHUB- NIGGURATH

  • 5:25 You're welcome

  • Innsmouth Massachusetts: come for the fishing, stay for Eternity!

  • Brutality

  • IA IA CTHULHU FHTAGN!

  • Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn

  • Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu R’lyeh wgah’nagl fhtagn

  • @Gandalf930 In his house at R'lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming that's what it means doesn't it? from one of h.p lovecraft's books

  • @marauder622

Well... yes. But that's not the point.

  • @Gandalf930 i think it is awesome that you can remember that. i have never read h.p lovecraft.

  • @marauder622

I actually copied it, lol. I've read only a few stories from Lovecraft, and well, I just wanted to joke around a bit. That's the whole point, no special meaning included, haha.

  • karl sanders is a very creative guitarist... awsome band oh yea and he shreds hardcore

  • I want to see this song live. the chanting bit alone would be worth a visit. I can only imagine the entire crowd chanting along is an orgy of brutality.

  • @Xaevryn Saw this tour in the UK earlier this year and they were fucking outstanding! I've been a long-time Nile fan but nothing compares to them live, it's literally note-perfect...Karl and Dallas have got to be the most accurate guitarists I've heard live! Ridiculously talented =]

And yes, we were all shouting ARRA ARRA ARRA, DAGON DAGON DAGON in the pit =D

  • @Xaevryn i want to see this with nergal from behemoth assissting, and throw in all the other guys too while you're at it.

  • @Xaevryn Been There Done That Was Epic! :D

  • @Xaevryn NILE FOR EVAR!!!

  • Best song on this incredible album. Hail The gods NILE!!!

  • I would finish watching this video.............but i have to go change my pants first ;)

  • I showed my friends this and now they're always walking around going, "ARRA! ARRA! ARRA! DAGON! DAGON! DAGON!"

  • ARRA ARRA ARRA DAGON DAGON DAGON!

  • Nile are just on another level. This song is absolutely immense, the riffage is brutalising and the drummer can keep an absolutely beastly rhythm without using blast beats, unlike most death metal bands. IA DAGON, IA HYDRA!

  • omg. this song makes me ejaculate so hard i punch holes in my ceiling.

  • IA !! ARRA DAGON!!

  • glad I bought this

  • Osiris took the 2 pepole who diliked to hell.

  • I don't like this album. Previous albums were a lot better. Perhaps the only good songs are yezd desert ghul.. and this one.

  • I have listened to this song again and again ever since I got the album in November... I'm sorry to say that it is not clicking with me. It is way to boring from about 2:00 on and is very anti climactic with the outro. I like how at the end when the song is pretty much over, the middle eastern guitar part tells me that Karl Sanders was like: "WHOOPS I forgot to make that song have any progression, maybe if I throw in a recycled tune from my solo project fans wont notice" LAME !

  • @MCCrleone354 Then stop listening to it again and again. Simple solution really.

  • @MCCrleone354

i think you got issues.. Dagon will fix that when he comes back.

  • when i close my eyes and listen to this song i feel snakes writhing all over me...

  • @helioncry do they try to penetrate you?

  • Ia Dagon, Ia Cthulhu! ;-)

  • @zezek75 Female Dagon, female Cthulhu?

  • @Benteiron Dude, "Ia" isn't "L" and "A", but "I" and "A" ;-) It means something like "hail". Apparently you haven't red anything from H.P. Lovecraft ;-)

  • @zezek75 Actually i have, i borrowed some "complete works" of his from the library, but it was so fucking huge that i only got about half of it read before i had to return it :P

  • @Benteiron Fuckin' Frenchmen ...

  • @ArthurShawcross Indeed :P I don´t know if you actually meant that i am french, but before you do something like that you should check my channel where it is clearly stated that I´m Finnish.

  • @Benteiron No, I didn't think that, I was just angry about Frenchmen and their language, because it caused your misunderstanding with zezek.

  • @ArthurShawcross Ok :D Yeah, damn those evil Frenchies!!!

  • This is the perfect track for my funeral come on picture it......

  • 2 people have been detested by gods.

  • Nile also has a song called the Hittite Dung Incantation, the Hittites were a people in Anatolia (many believe the common ancestor for Urartians and Armenians).

  • @ARMO4LIFE80 the hittites invaded egypt and eventually took over, so egypt adopted some of there customs. that songs more egyptian than u think

  • @a7foldforlife102 Thats very true. The hittites eventually mixed with the Egyptians over time and disappeared. The hitties and egyptians fought each other for years. But that led to their own downfall lol. Ironic isnt it?

  • This song is proof that Nile isnt specific to ancient Egyptian Mythology. Arra or the more correct term "Arra Aramazd" was the pagan god for the ancient Proto-Aryan Armenian people in Caucasia or the Southern Caucasus. Just saying.

  • ARRA ARRA ARRA!!! DAGON DAGON DAGON!!! This has to be one of the MOST BRUTAL outro's I have ever heard...AWESOME!!! 666...616...666

  • One of the most brutal? THE MOST FUCKIN'DESTRUCTIVE THING EVER PLAYED

  • I love this ! Amazing track
