sub4subCenteral: That's not really how it works though. By leaving your vids for a couple of months you've done nothing to help people see them. Contacts are the important thing: find users with similar tastes to yourself, people who've made similar vids etc and stay in touch. Then they recommend them to people, fave your videos etc. You build a network of good contacts who help you out and encourage you - Youtube is a community as well as a tool. Of course if you let them just sit nobody cares!
